    It’s an amazing album. I prefer the ballads over the pop songs to be honest. Flowers and Highly Emotional People are quintessential Marina songs!

    It's important, as a fan, understand where the artist is, in life and in the music. Marina is living her life and showing us vulnerability. She's not ignoring what's happening to the world, she's sending us a reminder that if we don't look what we're doing to mother nature, she'll gave us a lesson asap. I always put so many meanings in her lyrics, that's what makes me tendencious aboutIt's important, as a fan, understand where the artist is, in life and in the music. Marina is living her life and showing us vulnerability.     Everything about it is simply stunning, from the lyrics to the themes and the melodies. It's hard to rank her albums but this may be the best one yet.

    I love the fact that she keeps getting better album by album. Such sincerity, nice vocals, and poetic lyricism. Waiting for her first 10/10 album for me. Don't think it's gonna take much more time.

    Wonderfully put together and the concept of the whole album fits the problems we face these days. It's very much like the MARINA I felt I discovered all those years ago. The lyricism is so well written and the vocals are stunning as usual.

    Every song has a different vibe, yet connected to each others. Though some songs take a couple of listening, this is an album thats worth to try

    By far, MARINA's best album. So critical, conceptual, the lyrics are unbelievable awesome and we stan. You can see the evolution of Marina as an artist, person and woman.

    Marina brought elements from the first three albums, and it worked very well. Marina came back much better after the last album. Divine.

    Cohesive album. Echoes of Froot and The Family Jewels. Good return to form. She should continue riding this high. If she keeps it up and does these same things with the next album, and focusing on the personal as opposed to political, she’ll knock it out of the park.

    Amei todas as faixas! Acho que a Marina sabe fazer algo muito especial, algo que ela faz neste álbum de maneira esplêndida, que é trazer temas universais para o âmbito doméstico. Ela começa o álbum falando sobre a evolução humana como um todo, trazendo os pontos gerais com os quais deveríamos estar nos preocupando. Porém, ela termina o álbum trazendo uma experiência própria dela com umAmei todas as faixas! Acho que a Marina sabe fazer algo muito especial, algo que ela faz neste álbum de maneira esplêndida, que é trazer temas universais para o âmbito doméstico. Ela começa o álbum falando sobre a evolução humana como um todo, trazendo os pontos gerais com os quais deveríamos estar nos preocupando. Porém, ela termina o álbum trazendo uma experiência própria dela com um relacionamento que terminou há pouco. Ela fala sobre temas amplos e consegue transpor exatamente o sentimento desses temas amplos para sentimentos específicos. Talvez a minha faixa favorita em questão de letra e reflexão seja Highly Emocional People justamente por conta desse fator. Porém, musicalmente e por conta da provocação para a indústria, Venus Fly Trap tenha meu amor total e completo. É sempre muito lindo ver um artista deixando claro como Hollywood é suja. Amo que a primeira parte é uma coisa mais militante e ativista, o quê de certa forma falta na indústria e nas músicas atuais. Enquanto a segunda parte trata do fim da relação, com letras e batidas super fodas.

    Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land destaca por su gran cohesión instrumental y lírica. Te pone a bailar mientras toca temas de importancia actual de índole social y ambiental. La progresión de los acordes y los cambios de melodía vuelven a las canciones muy poco predecibles. Asimismo, baladas bellas que balancean la energía de la primera mitad. Un excelente álbum y un soplido de aire fresco.

    Everything is delicate, but nothing is muted. This aesthetic certainly isn’t for everybody, but after her ambivalent pop experiments, Marina no longer needs her albums to be. It’s a beacon out for the highly emotional people of the world, of whom she clearly is one; it’s for her.
