I love the evolution from veteran, some of the tracks on this lp are nearly perfect (my favorite being Beta Male Strategies) and its visible the effort from peggy into this piece of work, also this project is most friendly to non experimental hip hop listeners than the majority on peggy's catalog.

Awesome album, nice beats and very lo-fi sounding. Wish the songs were longer but overall amazing album!

JPEGMAFIAs best smartest and most creative project may take another listen to get into but so much more than worth it to give the chance, blending rap and RnB and still being gritty is something only peggy can do well

I think this project is a succession of ups and downs speaking of quality in general but man everytime you think you reached the bottom JPEGMAFIA proves you the opposite. And when you realize you're onto something really good (like the beginning of 'PTSD'), the artist voluntarily switches to some sadly basic beats. I repeat: some songs are painful. I genuinely felt like I was being mistreated when listening to this album. Expand

This is an EXPERIENCE album. Requires listening to it in full. Only a couple bangers I'll be able to listen to separately, but still so much better in context. Pales compared to Veteran for me for now. Still lots of shining moments though.

All I can say after first listen is wow. This was simply an unexpected gem. He’s basically showing off from a production standpoint and it still works. Jesus forgive me I’m a Thot is ridiculously beautiful as is much of the album. You will find yourself just randomly singing or rapping these songs. You will find yourself just randomly singing or rapping these songs. Also, it’s impressive how he has found a way to manipulate his voice to sound so great. He can sing enough to get by (especially with autotune) but it’s shouldn’t sound this good. JPEG isn’t the last person I would’ve expected an interesting great listen from but he wasn’t really on my watch list. I thought Veteran was good but had a TON of filler which was strange for someone like JPEG. This album doesn’t waste any time here and builds on Veteran. JPEGMAFIA fans will worship this album. Ordinary rap fans will have to let it grow on them or they will just hate it because it is a weird album especially if you just listen to Drake all day. Expand

JPEGMAFIA, although a wonderful artist dropped the ball on this album. Trading in his hardcore experimentation for pop song structures was a mistake, and one I hope not to be repeated going forward

An amazing album with very few dull moments. The production on here is out of this world. The lyrics are also hilarious and witty.

Trash, absolute garbage. Whole album is a mess!
This is the worst album I've heard in 2019, he goes from rapping to singing to screeching.

JPEGMAFIA doesn't have to overkill the current politics by becoming the left-wing's wings. But he did! More so, that's what's needed right now in the music scene where musicians can speak up about major issues, not just plugging their ears and talk about something else. JPEGMAFIA became one of the most important rappers in this era! And everything is crisp!

A perfect encapsulation of the disappointment of modern life in the internet age. Sonically, it captures the chaotic beauty that is the internet. All My Heroes Are Cornballs manages a mellow, even reserved instrumental tone without losing any of the scathing social commentary or frenetic energy that defined earlier work. If anything, the album is more intense, hiding biting and bilious (and often surreal) lyrical threats beneath a deceptively low-energy facade.

JPEGMAFIA ain’t really here for the put-ons and doesn’t expect his listeners to be either. But those expectations do not come without a kind of sound education, one that considers the context and multiplicity of characters he’s speaking to and through. In that way, Cornballs demands repeat plays, critical engagement and a goddamn sense of humour. [Nov 2019, p.57]

Despite his tongue-in-cheek song titles, and his jesting bluster about his rise to prominence, there's a real soul and emotion running beneath everything.
