Dec 4, 2022I love the evolution from veteran, some of the tracks on this lp are nearly perfect (my favorite being Beta Male Strategies) and its visible the effort from peggy into this piece of work, also this project is most friendly to non experimental hip hop listeners than the majority on peggy's catalog.

Oct 26, 2021Awesome album, nice beats and very lo-fi sounding. Wish the songs were longer but overall amazing album!
-
Sep 22, 2021JPEGMAFIAs best smartest and most creative project may take another listen to get into but so much more than worth it to give the chance, blending rap and RnB and still being gritty is something only peggy can do well

Apr 30, 2020This is an EXPERIENCE album. Requires listening to it in full. Only a couple bangers I'll be able to listen to separately, but still so much better in context. Pales compared to Veteran for me for now. Still lots of shining moments though.

Oct 31, 2019JPEGMAFIA, although a wonderful artist dropped the ball on this album. Trading in his hardcore experimentation for pop song structures was a mistake, and one I hope not to be repeated going forward

Oct 13, 2019Jpeg, because i like jpegs, better color and resolution. Peggy did it again. Every second of this album is a bless

Oct 4, 2019A truly psychedelic experience... absolutely breathtaking . Damn Peggy !!!!!!
-
Oct 2, 2019Absolutely stellar album , with production out of this world ! It may be a challenging listen to some but it’s absolutely worth your time and attention . 10/10 throughly disappointed

Sep 30, 2019An amazing album with very few dull moments. The production on here is out of this world. The lyrics are also hilarious and witty.
-
Sep 29, 2019A very well produced album but I was not as impressed with Peggy's rapping on this project as I was on Veteran.
-
Sep 25, 2019Trash, absolute garbage. Whole album is a mess!
This is the worst album I've heard in 2019, he goes from rapping to singing to screeching. -
Sep 23, 2019JPEGMAFIA doesn't have to overkill the current politics by becoming the left-wing's wings. But he did! More so, that's what's needed right now in the music scene where musicians can speak up about major issues, not just plugging their ears and talk about something else. JPEGMAFIA became one of the most important rappers in this era! And everything is crisp!

Sep 17, 2019I am completely blown away by this album, production is inventive and incredible, the flows are great, the one liners are hilarious and the lyrics even though the might be cryptic when you first hear them get even better on repeated listens. overall this album is amazing, I'm extremely dissapointed. 0/10

Sep 16, 2019This album is something incredible. Peggy manages to produce amazing tracks, with amazing beats and even lyrics. The production is top tier, and the whole album feels so special, with also the feel of a victory lap since Veteran. This is a confirmed classic in my opinion, but peggy disappointed me :(

Sep 16, 2019mind blowing production, lyrics are amazing as always. Beautiful singing that surprised me in the best way possible, making songs like free the frail get me emotionally. Just gives me a warm feeling and outlook on life. Fair to say I'm disappointed

Sep 16, 2019One of the greatest albums of the decade. Don't have much else to say really.

Nov 14, 2019All My Heroes Are Cornballs manages a mellow, even reserved instrumental tone without losing any of the scathing social commentary or frenetic energy that defined earlier work. If anything, the album is more intense, hiding biting and bilious (and often surreal) lyrical threats beneath a deceptively low-energy facade.

The WireOct 23, 2019JPEGMAFIA ain’t really here for the put-ons and doesn’t expect his listeners to be either. But those expectations do not come without a kind of sound education, one that considers the context and multiplicity of characters he’s speaking to and through. In that way, Cornballs demands repeat plays, critical engagement and a goddamn sense of humour. [Nov 2019, p.57]

Oct 7, 2019Despite his tongue-in-cheek song titles, and his jesting bluster about his rise to prominence, there's a real soul and emotion running beneath everything.
