    First ever non-English album that I listened to from start to finish and couldn't wait to replay all over again. Their vocals are so beautiful, even the rappers sing too which isn't something we see quite often. The Korean parts don't sound foreign at all, just like Latin music you can jam to the beats and sing out the catchy bits without knowing what it means. I am not a huge kpop listener, but when I was scrolling through my twitter feed seeing BLACKPINK was set to release another album I knew it worth listening to. And was I right! Particularly I like to compliment Rosé’s singing in this album. She truly grabbed me in and made the song all that much more enjoyable. Rosé, you are amazing.     I have never listened to a whole album and liking all the tracks. Each title track deserve an MV. Even as a fan, we get tired of same styles and same vibe however, this album exceeded all of our expectations as fans. It is definitely one of the best. GRAMMY worthy.

    A true masterpiece. Every song is addictive and leaves you wanting to play it again and again. The BLACKPINK members constantly set the standard for girl groups by always coming back better than ever, and this comeback is no different. Definitely the most talented at what they do, BLACKPINK has left me craving for more music, and I absolutely cannot wait for their next release!

    Ice Cream and How You Like That were really poor pre-releases that set the tone for the overall album, that feels outdated and somewhat stuck in the early 2000s. Even the Cardi B feature could not save it from being mediocre at best. After waiting for nearly four years for a full album, I was really dissappointed by the lacklustre quality and lack of songs.     My favourite album by Blackpink and the only full album by Blackpink. We finally have the girls put pieces of themselves into the album. Blackpink finally showed more of their potentials. I bet with more artistic freedom they will make masterpieces. There have been no skips in this album.

    Amazing first full length album. So much emotion put into one Masterpiece. Each tracks has different raw emotions and each has its own vibes. The Album itself is a BOP with so much Swag. Korean Pop music crossing over to an electro pop, hip hop, and trap with a mix of R & B. Love it!

    Just listened to it and blackpink was really impressive here I like all the songs. The production, lyrics, and flow is really amazing especially their voices it's really good. Lovesick girls is so good too I'm not even a fan but I'm starting to consider stanning them now. Deserved 10/10

With Pretty Savage talking about how they are just that, "pretty" and "savage" that one can try but they can't amount to them (did they lie?), their lovesick girls track which is also the title track for "THE ALBUM" which portrays a love that should come to an end but they're too in love to allow that to happen, despite them being hurt over and over, with stand out lyrics like "we were born to be alone, but why we still looking for love" also including rap from the two rappers Lisa and Jennie. An emotional track like "You Never Know" which allowed the quartet to be vulnerable and open up to just how tough the industry is and how people will never truly understand them. The album deserves a solid 10/10. Not a single skip.Though are we surprised? This is BLACKPINK after all.… Expand

    They did an incredible job for all the songs, I’m glad they released 'how you like that' and 'ice cream' because those are the lamest songs of the album. All the other songs are amazing, I’m not even a blinks but this album might be the reason I’ll become one in the future.

    This album really proved these girls talent and versatility as they gave a new sound on every song. I’m in love with this album as it shows quality over quantity and each song could very well be the title track. This album deserves so much praise and a number one because it truly is amazing.

    So good!! Loved every song on there. Especially Bet you wanna with Cardi B !! Rose really showed her amazing vocals and Loved hearing more of Jisoo and loved hearing Jennie rapping in Lovesick girls. Overall really light hearted fun album with so much potential. Blackpink really showed their abilities with this album.

    Lovesick Girls being their title and being a different concept from the songs they've been releasing was such a dangerous move but i'm glad they did it... Jennie and Jisoo really did a good job in that song. And all the girls did an amazing job in all of the tracks! Pretty Savage soty
