    To me this album has so many different genre, but most of the tracks on this album is catchy and wonderful like the ballad song on this album “Let It Be Me” the most beautiful track on this album and “Emotion” other tracks is pop you can vibe to it, this album of her is so underrated and unappreciated I don’t understand why.

    An unfairly review bombed album that deserves some praise for showcasing JLo's versatility as an artist. The only flaw is the sequencing because nearly ever song is single worthy between the ballads the pop gems and the hip-hop/dance inspired moments.

    This album is so beautiful, any piece brings very majestic rhythms, just the best of JLO, First Love ends with the whole career of Shakira.

    What an old album to review. I thought I would review this as Jennifer Lopez is planning on releasing new album. This album was average no surprises and it is easy predictable few dance songs then few ballads and few song to fill up the album. Even thought these songs didn't filled up the album it made it even more emptier.

    A widely inspirational album that contains pop and R&B beats and very personal lyrics, feels like J.Lo is going back to basics and God I can't believe this is her 10th album she is such a legend

    This album in my library since its release. And now I listen to this album again and I had the feeling that half of the songs I did not know until I heard the chorus of the song. It is a shock.
    But there are some songs on AKA I just love: Emotions, A.K.A., Booty, Tens, Acting Like That.
    The whole album in colors that I love.

    I have to say J.LO really surprised me with this album. It has A good beat and it is very well Produced. The vocals may be not the best but still a great album. I am very disappointed that this album did not do well with the charts or sales. I recommend people to listen to this album especially if they like Pop/R&B Songs

    Pra min que não sou fã nato da JLO, gostei bastante desse Álbum, em comparação com os outros acho ele superior, porém ele também possuídos músicas meio mais do mesmo.

    Amiga, não tem como te defender, em ''A.K.A.'' você começa dizendo que não é a mesma garota e termina em ''Same Girl'' dizendo que sempre foi a mesma. A primeira faixa do álbum, conta com o rap morno e totalmente sem graça do T.I., passamos pra ''First Love'' que consegue mesmo que boring, ser melhor que a primeira faixa, talvez por ser uma faixa melhor produzida, but com uma letraAmiga, não tem como te defender, em ''A.K.A.'' você começa dizendo que não é a mesma garota e termina em ''Same Girl'' dizendo que sempre foi a mesma. A primeira faixa do álbum, conta com o rap morno e totalmente sem graça do T.I., passamos pra ''First Love'' que consegue mesmo que boring, ser melhor que a primeira faixa, talvez por ser uma faixa melhor produzida, but com uma letra totalmente whatever sobre um boy que ela conheceu e acreditava que se tivesse conhecido antes, não teria perdido tanto tempo. em ''Never Satisfied'', JLo acaba contando que não dorme a noite porque tem um grande apetite, ou seja, tirem o frigobar do quarto dela!
    ''I Luh Ya Papi'' faz valer a pena dentro do álbum, e JLo que já fez excelentes músicas para as pistas como ''On The Floor'' e ''Waiting For Tonight'', consegue com ''ILYP'' nos dar um ânimo pra continuar ouvindo esse álbum e fazendo um dos melhores singles lançados em 2014.
    A boa sensação de ''I Luh Ya Papi'' é deixada pra trás logo quando batemos de frente com as totalmente esquecíveis ''Acting Like That'', que talvez consegue ser um pouco mais interessante por trazer Iggy Azalea, ''So Good'' e ''Emotions'', a última talvez chamando atenção pelo fraco lirismo assinado pelo Chris Brown, sem nenhuma emoção além do título da música, a faixa soa totalmente fake e sem graça.
    ''Let It Be Mine'' vem com uma vibe totalmente latina e consegue ser boa, ponto pra JLo! Talvez no fim ela até consiga manter uma certa regularidade com ''Worry No More'', ''Tens'' e ''Troubeaux'', mesmo que sendo totalmente sem criatividade, quando nos deparamos com uma faixa chamada ''Booty'' e com um rap do Pitbull que só consegue ser mais previsível do que uma colaboração de ambos.    … Expand

    A.K.A. não é um álbum ruim, mas também não é o máximo. Jennifer conseguiu fazer um album diferente dos seus anteriores, que tinham musicas somente feitas para vender. Mas mesmo assim, Jennifer erra em algumas músicas, como nas letras. Ainda assim é um album bom de se ouvir. As melhores são a faixa título, Let It Be Me, balada com vocais muito bons de Jennifer, e Booty, surpreendentementeA.K.A. não é um álbum ruim, mas também não é o máximo.     Her worst album, without a doubt, I would give a 3 stars for the best music (I Luh Ya Papi?).
    The rappers are bad, the songs doesn't take advantage of J. Lo great voice.
    The beats and lyrics are uninspired, even songs like Booty and Ten, which are supposed to be dancing, gets boring when it comes to the chorus.
    Anyone who gives this a 10 score is just overrating it.

    Jlo for me is more of a singles artist, you like all the singles they release but the album themselves are sometimes just meh. A.K.A. changes that, although I only enjoy half of the album, the songs that I enjoy are great songs. The problem with this album is there are some amazing songs but also some really crappy songs. Lopez has stepped up her game somewhat.

    The negative reviews just seem to be people that don't like Jennifer Lopez at all, so they cannot fairly rate this CD when they are biased from the gate. I am a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, but I can honestly say she has had bad CD's, for example Brave and This is me...Then. They had a couple of hits, but the rest of the CD was *yawn*... boring. However, I honestly like this new CD A.K.A.The negative reviews just seem to be people that don't like Jennifer Lopez at all, so they cannot fairly rate this CD when they are biased from the gate.     I never wanted to give this album a zero. While listening to the record, I was waiting for that moment where one -Just ONE- impressive song would come up and explode and make me like the album.. But unfortunately that moment never came. Since when does T.I. outshine anybody with his sucking rap? Well he surely outshines JLo on the title track. Since when does Lopez reach out for fillersI never wanted to give this album a zero. Since when does Lopez reach out for fillers like Rick Ross or French Montana to make songs with them? Why isn't "Booty" nearly as half as good as the Pitbull-assisted "On The Floor" or "Live It Up"?     Best album from J Lo! So many great club smashers, jenny from the block anthems, and slow love songs. Loved every single song! My reccomendations are Worry No More, A.K.A, I Luh Ya Papi, First Love, and Booty. Had a lot of fun with the album!

Ainda mais complicado para quem a considera uma cantora e atriz, no máximo, mediana com pontos altos, baixos e alguns baixíssimos em ambas as carreiras. Analisando friamente a trajetória de J.Lo se checa a conclusão de que são trêsEntender o motivo de a Jennifer Lopez ser uma das maiores celebridades na atualidade deve ser difícil para quem não acompanhou a carreira dela desde o começo. Ainda mais complicado para quem a considera uma cantora e atriz, no máximo, mediana com pontos altos, baixos e alguns baixíssimos em ambas as carreiras. Analisando friamente a trajetória de J.Lo se checa a conclusão de que são três os fatores para compreender o sucesso dela: carisma, "tino" para os negócios e, o mais importante, a capacidade para ser uma verdadeira "entertainment woman".

    Para quem já viu alguma entrevista ou até mesmo a atuação de Jennifer no American Idol saber que ela passa uma atmosfera extremamente brilhante esbanjando carisma capaz de transcender a câmera chegando ao público. Ajuda muito que aos 44 anos de idade, J.Lo ainda ser uma das celebridades mais belas da atualidade. Ao longo dos anos, a filha de porto-riquenhos construiu um verdadeiro império com a ajuda de bem sucedidas linhas de roupas, perfumes, uma produtora de filmes e séries e o endossamento de vários outros produtos. Porém, o grande trunfo de J.Lo é ser uma das melhores performances que há no mercado. Vocês nem precisam gostar dela como cantora, mas tem que admitir que quando ela faz uma apresentação não há comparação para quase ninguém. Dançarina experiente (e como dança!), Jenny domina o palco de maneira poderosa e, várias vezes, magistralmente deixando no chinelo todas as novas divas do pop. Então, mesmo com o fracasso anunciado de seu novo álbum, vocês realmente acham que a Jennifer está assim tão preocupada com o flop? E, olha, que A.K.A. nem é um trabalho tão horrível como estão falando por aí. É apenas bem mediano.

    Tentando restabelecer seu sucesso comercial e ao mesmo tempo voltar para suas raízes mais hip hop e R&B, Jennifer Lopez conta a produção de alguns nomes que estão crescendo no meio como Youngblood e velhos conhecidos como Benny Mendina e Cory Rooney. Infelizmente, mesmo delimitando sua sonoridade, o resultado final de A.K.A. é uma coleção inconsistente e, em vários momentos, fracos de canções que não ajudam a cantora a reerguer sua carreira. O problema não está na sonoridade, mas em como essas músicas são produzidas. Muitas faixas aqui (e olha que o álbum só tem 14 músicas em sua versão deluxe) parecem estar apenas para encher o álbum enquanto as faixas boas não chegam ao ponto de serem realmente boas. Nunca conhecida pela qualidade das composições que canta, Jennifer Lopez está cercada novamente de letras de cunho questionável e qualidade bem mediana, agravado pelo fato que em vários momentos elas nem ao menos são comerciais como é o caso de Acting Like That em que é se perde a oportunidade de usar a artista do momento (a rapper Iggy Azalea) para fazer um possível hit, mas que acaba como uma canção fraquíssima e bem sem graça. O mais interessante, porém, é que o melhor quesito de A.K.A. são as performances de Jennifer. Sempre criticada como cantora, por causa da sua voz pequena, J.Lo mostra uma evolução grande ao mostrar solidez e classe, principalmente, em momentos mais românticos como é o caso da surpreendente boa Let It Be Me. O mais incrível é notar que a melhor música do álbum vem de outra parceria com o rapper Pitbull: a divertida Booty, a única com potencial verdadeiro de ser um hit comercial. Outros bons momentos são o single First Love, a divertida I Luh Ya Papi e a dançante Tens. Mesmo com o fracasso de A.K.A. não duvide da capacidade de reerguer-se e reinventar-se da Jennifer Lopez. Afinal, a música é apenas um dos apêndices de sua carreira.    … Expand

I prefer JLo floping and continue giving attention to her fans, no putting albums and singles on #1 ever, and forgetting the importance that fans have for her. She need not criticize people or swear, singing indirect in music to succeed. SheI Love Jennifer Lopez, i love her upcoming album, she's a complete artist, and she loves her fans so much.
