Aside from a few good jump-scares and a couple of original plot twists, Wrecker spends most of its running time cutting between footage of the roadster and footage of the truck, apparently assuming viewers will take those images and use them to imagine something more exciting. Read full review

Director Bafaro shows little aptitude for the driving sequences which are stunningly dull in their repetitiveness and lack of visual flair. I'll say it, it's not that bad.Sure the acting is not always good,some decisions are annoyingly stupid and the fact that there is no violence in the movie is disappointing but, overall,it's a movie that you will watch only once because it's actually not good.Oh, and the main characters areI'll say it, it's not that bad.Sure the acting is not always good,some decisions are annoyingly stupid and the fact that there is no violence in the movie is disappointing but, overall,it's a movie that you will watch only once because it's actually not good.Oh, and the main characters are so stupid and annoying, you'll probably end up rooting for the truck driver to kill them fast.… Expand

Yeah it is that bad. It's a sort remake of Steven Spielberg's Duel.The only difference being that they seem to drive the same pieces of road over and over again. And apparently a moder Ford Mustang can't outrun an old tow truck but it can be rammed by an old tow truck quite hard withoutYeah it is that bad.
