What a incredible movie. The voice acting, the animation, the screenplay (at least at most of the time) and the soundtrack are awesome. The partnership between Jordan Peele and Henry Selick was amazing in this movie.

The joint efforts of Jordan Peele and Henry Selick bring to life something devilish, out of this world and hard to imitate. When Guillermo del Toro said that the animated film genre should be seen as something more than just children's films, he was referring to films like this one.

Henry Selick is still at the top of his game. Jordan Peele's screenplay could've been more polished, but the story is very enjoyable, and the characters are very cool. Gorgeous animation and awesome needle drops. Netflix still delivers!

I loved the animation, can't say the same for the story.
It never seemed to be able to find a genuinely centered approach. Nevertheless, its dark undertones are more than captivating enough to have fun and easily engage with its vision.
It won't amaze anyone as a gem of the genre, but II loved the animation, can't say the same for the story.

What a bland movie. Story lackluster and voice acting a bit flat. Potential was there but there's something overtly hollow and missing from it. Animation was spectacular though.
