Nail Biting from start to finish. Considering some other movies that have made no 1 spot, this should reach there also.

I went into this movie with really low expectations, but in the end I had a good time. Why? Well, this movie didn't try to be self-referential, or funny, or anything that bogs down a lot of recent horror movies. Instead it knew what it wanted to show. It wanted to show teenagers I went into this movie with really low expectations, but in the end I had a good time. Why? Well, this movie didn't try to be self-referential, or funny, or anything that bogs down a lot of recent horror movies. Instead it knew what it wanted to show. It wanted to show teenagers getting killed in violent, interesting ways. I succeeds at that, and ends up being pretty fun, not all that scary, but still enjoyable. Plus, the ending of the movie is really great, tight, and actually had me on the edge of my seat. Not bad. Not a classic, but fun.… Expand

How bad was Venom? It was so bad, that they couldn't even get things to jump out and scare you at the right time! It absolutely kills me! The story is fairly original with definite potential, the cast is fairly well known, and the movie was just awful! Why? Take your pick between badHow bad was Venom? Take your pick between bad writing, cheap special effects, no character development, and a really stupid ending. I like the whole Louisiana Creole background and the mysterious voodoo religion, that no one believe in anymore, but they just didn't take it anywhere. It's 15 minutes of interesting and an hour and 15 minutes of cheesy slasher bull with typical lines, no eye candy, no comedy, nothing! It was quite boring and the ending just... wow! I don't know if it was rushed or if they just didn't care, but it was so stupid!! Venom could have been a lot more, but it wasn't anything worthwhile.… Expand

This film is extremely bad. It is not thrilling and scary. I recommend all of you not to watch this film as it is not a good horror film and you will not be shocked, scared or surprised.

This movie, like The Cave and Cry Wolf, shows why movies may be headed in the wrong directions. I know 14 and 15 year olds who think this movie is amazing. Yes I will agree it is amazing, amazingly bad. Poor direction, plot, suspense and just about everything else.
