Another favorite movie of mine. This one I must admit had me stumped on who the killer was. Awesome movie I recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I really did enjoy Valentine VERY much. I know there are ALLOT of 'horror' movies around at the moment but i thought Valentine was very different from the rest and one of the best.

One of the reasons being the cast in the film, especially: David Boreanaz who is absolutely brilliant in his role. Very believable, very good and very cute. Denise Richards, Marley Shelton, Jessica Capshaw, Jessica Cauffiel and Katherine Heigl suited there roles very well too. I wouldn't exactly call them 'brilliant' actress' but they were VERY good and quite classy too.

The story-line was really cool too and very exciting as you wait to see what happens next. I think it was also very good the way David Boreanaz made out it was Jessica Capshaw who was doing all the killings the whole time as after all it was her fault for what happened to him over the last few years so he got his revenge by not only killing ALL the girls for what they did to him when he was younger but by getting away with all the killings too.

I recently heard that there were plans to make a sequel to Valentine. If so, i know I'll be seeing it. Valentine is a brilliant film. So, if you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for-GO see it NOW! 20/10… Expand

The ending where Kate is attacked by the Cherub, who is promptly shot to death by Adam and then unmasked to be Dorothy, was left unexplained in the theatrical cut as it's revealed minutes later that Adam was the killer the whole time and framed Dorothy, without explaining why she's in the costume. A deleted scene reveals that Adam had attacked and knocked out Dorothy, and then dressed her in the Cherub costume to frame her, and her "attacking" Kate was just her in a disoriented state after having been hit in the head. It was cut for spoiling the identity of the killer.… Expand

Valentine is a horror type slasher film that was made in 2001... It stars the beautiful Denise Richards, Marley Shelton, David Boreanaz and many other people.... It stars the beautiful Denise Richards, Marley Shelton, David Boreanaz and many other people.... It's basically a rip off of the Halloween films I think but others may have different opinions however it's nothing new to the horror genre as we've seen this all before however the kill scenes are done very well. It's not overly gory but gory enough and the characters are all good as far as I'm concerned. Some of the acting is pants but some good. I think Valentine is like Marmite, you either love it or hate it but I personally have always liked it. The film has an assortment of beautiful colours throughout the film to make sure it's not depressing in the picture quality. Denise Richards is very sexy and a lot of the guys look a bit creepy apart from that Kimbal character and David Boreanaz but at the end David Boreanaz has a nosebleed and his face is creepy. I think Boreanaz 's character was Jeremy Melton he just changed his name lol... Anyway great film and well executed.… Expand

Valentine is 100x better than the critics give it credit for. It is stylish, expensive looking and the special effects still hold up very well today (with just one notable exception towards the end).

The stellar cast work through a script that is witty and sharp, the music is suspenseful and old school in a really great way, I’ll never get sick of that high pitch that keeps on rising. I always show this to friends who haven’t seen it after a few drinks and it’s always thoroughly enjoyed. I’ll never forget the first time I watched this at 11 years of age (my heart was pounding and it scared me half to death). The mask is extremely effective and creepy. If you don’t know who the killer is, go into this blind and see if you can work it out!

Well done to director Jamie Blanks for a somewhat forgotten slasher. As a lifelong horror fan I consider this a classic that has not faded with time. Please release the special Blu Ray in Region B for Europe!… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The opening is very sad and depressing, but the rest of the film is stupid. The characters really f**king suck, and are extremely unlikable, annoying, and boring (besides Kate who is pretty good).
The kills are tame and lame, besides the hot tub death, that was cool. And then the whole plastic surgery can change your entire face is unrealistic and stupid. And the goofy nose bleed thing was so annoying.

Also, why didn't Jeremy attack the boys who assaulted him? This film makes no f*cking sense.

And Dorothy being fat is not an excuse for lying. And she wasn't even fat!
3/10, crappy film… Expand

This pice of art directed by Jamie after he did "Urban Legends" two years before is really a good work the actors do their parts good but the best is Jessica Capshaw that sort of plays the main- girl but not the lead

The Photo is brilliant and the make-up little 80s on some of the girls wich make it more realistic in fashion the story trys to fool you and eaven if its not does that you will still not be sure of everything this movie deserves better critics by magazines and awards but it did pretty well on Cinemas i think i think this movie is much better then many of the bigger horror-hits from 98-03

movies like Scream 3, i know and i still know what you did last summer and haunted was little to humorous to feel really frightening

Valentine was much more realistic and had some really deep message that was not so common in this kind of genre I will not reveal anything for those who have not seen the movie yet but this is probably the horror-film that i prefer when it comes to school-time in my life (2000-2003)… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Valentine is a stylish horror thriller that has plenty of creative death scenes and a complex whodunit plot. The actors have great camaraderie notably Denise Richards,

David Boreanz (AKA Angel) as Adam and Marley Shelton as his ex-girlfriend. She doesn't trust him because he's an alcoholic and he wants to start seeing her again.

One of my favourite horror movies with a terrific cast and an unpredictable, spooky ending.

The exciting parts of this movie is when the Valentine cards are shown because the messages relate to the character's deaths. The messages in the cards rhyme as in traditional gift cards but in morbid ways.

All of the victims receive the Valentine's Day cards in the mail but nobody can figure out who the murderer
is.… Expand

There isn't anything original about the movie, but it's still fun. Also, Denise Richards looks incredible in this film, and her scenes are great.
