Pretty much an amazing thrill ride that will leave you breathless and likely thinking of watching it again. "The Snow Queen - Fire and Ice" has unbelievable songs, a good story, some bad villains, and totally AMAZING graphics.

It is certainly one of the very few truly successful indie animated films. While the movie is based on the original Dutch story "The Snow Queen", it feels totally fresh and original and very well done - on every level. For most of the film, I was simply fascinated by everything (so much!)It is certainly one of the very few truly successful indie animated films. While the movie is based on the original Dutch story "The Snow Queen", it feels totally fresh and original and very well done - on every level. For most of the film, I was simply fascinated by everything (so much!) going on onscreen, which definitely makes it as good as some of the Disney-type animated films in recent history. However, unlike in the typical Disney films, most of the characters in the film had that unusual extra dimension that made the film a lot less predictable than those- and therefore a lot more interesting to watch.… Expand

This film has great comedy factor and the plot is pretty decent too. i was waiting for that big moment when something big happens and then there's a heartwarming moral that usually occurs in animation films, and with end of the film it came and i was thinking this film does deliver. Snow Queen is a wonderful movie. The graphics are quite amazing! Overall, the story and its characters are interesting and fabulous.
