Existem filmes que existem apenas para captar o espírito de uma época, apresentando determinado contexto social como pano de fundo. É aquilo que Johann Gottfried Herder chamou de "Zeitgeist", popularizado por Hegel. Então, o que temos aqui é uma Paris em chamas à sombra de um renascimentoExistem filmes que existem apenas para captar o espírito de uma época, apresentando determinado contexto social como pano de fundo. É aquilo que Johann Gottfried Herder chamou de "Zeitgeist", popularizado por Hegel. Então, o que temos aqui é uma Paris em chamas à sombra de um renascimento dos discursos liberais, passada toda a euforia dos aos 1960 e do encantamento das liberdades individuais.
Assim, essa mãe solo tem que lidar com a rebeldia dos filhos, e ainda com sua sexualidade, bem como tendo que sobreviver com um subemprego. Vale lembrar que é aqui o nascimento do que se chamou de "neoliberalismo", ao lado a Margareth Tatcher ecoava sua ideologia de pauperização do trabalho como forma de alavancar a engrenagem do capital.
E é nesse cenário todo que as situações cotidianas daquele microuniverso vão sendo construídas, uma família que tem muito a explorar em seus laços, mas principalmente tem muito a se discutir pelo contexto em que vivem.
Uma pena que o roteiro não chegue assim a ser marcante o suficiente. É como ver um conto do cotidiano em tela, filmando o dia a dia de forma crua. A direção também não está inspirada.
Ainda bem que temos aqui grandes atuações, dramas potenciais encenados em cada esfera, seja da mãe, mas também da filha e do filho, o que mantem a atenção. E a cena final, linda de doer, mostra que os laços fraternos podem superar qualquer contexto. É um filme bonito, embora não marcante.… Expand
