It sounded good and it doesn't turn into a disaster, but taking into perspective everything that is projected in its plot - which struggles enough to sustain the whole film - the truth is that The Passenger doesn't add up to anything. It goes nowhere and leaves no mark.

Apart from Kyle Gallner's commendable performance, there's little that sets it apart. I reiterate that it's not an outright disaster, and I won't dissuade you from giving it a watch, but it's wise to approach it with tempered expectations.… Expand
