Klein conveys his characters’ shifting mental states with expressionistic sequences that are often unevenly framed, shot from behind his subjects or even unfocused. The result can be intentionally disorienting, but not always particularly revealing. By contrast, the performances are far more compelling. Read full review

The film was deeply boring. The main protagonist Nickie is deeply uninteresting as a character. Nickie has moved from the UK and is trying to make a new life for himself in the US. He meets a girl who has issues and his parents keep making him feel guilty about not coming back to the UK.The film was deeply boring.
