The Golem is creepy, as the cinematography is awash with atmosphere and the use of such a creature is interesting. The dramatic side of things mostly holds up as well, and when combined with the excellent acting, the movie turns out to be very effective and memorable. Read full review

Το γκόλεμ, σύμφωνα με την εβραϊκή μυθολογία είναι ένα ανθρωπόμορφο είδωλο φτιαγμένο από ανόργανα υλικά, συνήθως πηλό ή χώμα, που με τη χρήση μαγείας μπορεί να πάρει ζωή, έχοντας υπερφυσικές δυνάμεις. Με άλλα λόγια είναι κάτι αντίστοιχο του γνωστότερου τέρατος του Φρανκενστάιν, και παρότι οΤο γκόλεμ, σύμφωνα με την εβραϊκή μυθολογία είναι ένα ανθρωπόμορφο είδωλο φτιαγμένο από ανόργανα υλικά, συνήθως πηλό ή χώμα, που με τη χρήση μαγείας μπορεί να πάρει ζωή, έχοντας υπερφυσικές δυνάμεις. It's more drama than horror and it was promoted in that way which puts different expectations over it to begin with.
I don't deny that it has the creepy atmosphere and the story is good but it really doesn't have anything more worth mentioning.
