Movie full of action, explosions and fighting. All the old-time action movie stars are reunited with some new ones, cracking jokes tied to themselves and their own movies from the past that are known and even funnier when presented byMovie full of action, explosions and fighting. When you are watching it you want more of the dialogue more of the action and more of everything packed together. King of the pulpy, shoot-em-up action sub-genre, the series second installment has more jokes, more action, and the actors seem to be having a more of a blast than in the first one.

This film is the Michael Jackson to my childhood's Macauley Culkin. That being said, my rating policy dictates that any film featuring Arnie automatically qualifies for an extra point so 4/10 it is.

Its not a thoughtful movie. Its a brain-dead movie embodiment of Call of Duty. They went ahead, hired all the actors from Cult Classics like Rambo and Terminator and Rocky, then threw in a few lesser known actors, a few new actors, and gaveIts not a thoughtful movie. A more animated violence department makes the 2nd installment of the Expendables franchise make it less serious than the first movie and more walks a line between parody and homage to the films that made the ensemble cast famous in the first place.

Just watched ‪this movie‬ absolutely best movie I have seen, it is hilarious and has lots of action in it at the same time. ‪The next movie is coming out this summer, and I am definitely going to see it in theaters. Much better than the first one! The action scenes look really cool, in fact everything in this movie looks cool. The plot has also improved. They make references to the previous films of the actors and this is indeed funny. However thatMuch better than the first one! Seeing all the shortcomings of "The Expendables (2010)" Sylvester Stallone and the company created a really interesting action movie for 2012, but with the spirit of action movies of the last century. The main essence of the plot, although it seems small, almost like in the last part, but this very small essence was skillfully managed to twist for almost 2 hours without reducing the degree of epicness of the whole picture. The new characters also showed themselves well, which is only worth, though simulated, but the epic appearance of one cult hero.… Expand

It's impressive to know that even if you keep an attendance list, all the actors from the high-budget action films of the '80s and '90s appear in 'The Expendables 2'. It's impressive to know that even if you keep an attendance list, all the actors from the high-budget action films of the '80s and '90s appear in 'The Expendables 2'. This is an impressive feat, even though Chuck Norris had to accept to become a joking cameo for the duration of the film by accumulating a total screen time of less than five minutes. The same goes for Jet Li who also has less than 10 sequence shots on screen.

The script strangely holds up and will not fail to make a huge bunch of enemies stand in the way of our beloved mercenaries. I really didn't expect so many emotions in a film with so much stereotypical testosterone.

To note such a film is an ordeal as difficult as it is unexpected. My heart loves it for its frantic pace, its incessant and bloody action scenes, its effective dialogue lines and its economy of words. If it were up to my heart to write about it, it would be close to an 8/10. But my head for its part can't help but notice the bewildering number of neurons disappearing per second when I'm in front of this movie. It's hard to believe that one can decently chain together so many clichés and traditional and non-original ideas. There is only one woman who looks strong during a few scenes of this movie! The jokes only revolve around the counter of deaths, women and the size of everyone's guns. So my head can only give it a 2 or 3 out of 10.… Expand

Slightly not as good as the 1st. There was just a lot going on in this movie. Hard to follow along with all the different stories going on. Still great movie more action and better fight scenes.

What a great action movie. Maximum firepower, maximum star power, maximum excitement. The Expendables 2 is the ultimate fan movie and gives us even more than we got from the first one. Van Damme as the villain was the best thing in The Expendables.
