Summary: Lex (Anna Konkle) and Mani (Jermaine Fowler) are a happily married young couple, running their dream artisanal bakery in Los Angeles and excited about starting a family together. The premise is interesting and there's a promising cast of actors, but co-writer/director Sarah Adina Smith hasn't sufficiently sharpened her pen, so the script lacks much comic snap. An ok alternative comedy outing with a pretty good but slightly dark and shocking inciting incident. Was wondering as I was watching why the the film is titled the way it is, it was handled very well. The ensemble cast is well rounded but the film really drags to keep them all engaged and developed.
