Everyone's favorite teacher, Mr. Simon, pairs Andy with the school's biggest outcast and social pariah, Stanley aka "Big G", on a critical school project. Sporting thick orange hair, a head too big for his body and ears too big for his head, "Big G" has been the object of ridicule since grade school. Before long, Andy will learn that there was truly a method behind Mr. Simon's madness as to why he teamed these two up. When Andy watches "Big G" fearlessly confront the school bully about the incident, a series of events are triggered. Much to Andy's surprise, he learns that "Big G" is a brilliant, kind, tolerant human being, who has more dignity than anyone Andy has ever encountered. "Big G" personifies Mr. Simon's four word answer on how to obtain world peace: HUMAN DIGNITY + COMPASSION = PEACE. (Samuel Goldwyn Films)

I loved this movie. Thought it was entertaining and edifiying at the same time. The actiing was excellent on everyones behalf. Loved the ending credits where you see what actually happens to these characters and the jerk ends up being the real loser.…Expand
This is a bit of a cheesy/cliched film but its quite watchable. Its entertaining and features some decent performances. Its not a brilliant film as such but its not awful either. I wouldn't especially recommend it as such but I wouldn't go out of your way to avoid it either - take thatThis is a bit of a cheesy/cliched film but its quite watchable. I will give it credit. That's What I Am is a huge step up in the right direction for distribution company WWE Films however the mixed story line and unclear ending leaves a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.
It is heavily suggested that the viewer should walk into this movie expecting it to bomb. While it is bad, I agree, it does still have a subtle charm to it. I also praise WWE for putting Randy Orton in this movie for only a few scenes because he couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.It is heavily suggested that the viewer should walk into this movie expecting it to bomb. Speaking of the acting talent, my first reaction to seeing Ed Harris in this movie was: NOOOOOOO! But then I soon realized that without him, this movie would have been even worse. Although, I hope he did fire his agent for this stinker, he completely out-shines anyone from the movie. The acting from the kids are what you would expect, not so terrible. The moral of the story is one we've seen over and over again, and it's just another run-of-the-mill tolerance movies. As much as this movie is bad, it does have a strange charm to it. I would only recommend this to the extreme WWE fans who like to laugh at the movies. 6/10.…Expand
