This was a legitimate stand alone sci-fi summer blockbuster. It was drastically different from the feel of all the others in the series, but maintained many of the important story lines. If you watch the other three movies and the T:SCC, This was a legitimate stand alone sci-fi summer blockbuster. It was drastically different from the feel of all the others in the series, but maintained many of the important story lines. If you watch the other three movies and the T:SCC, this integrated all prior plots along with providing some interesting explanations for outstanding issues. While the "professional" reviewers may be judging it based on how it is not the same as prior versions or based on the absence of Arrrrrrnold, I can tell you that not one person leaving the theater last night didn't have a smile on their face or a positive thing to say about this movie.… Expand

Poorly made movie overall. for a movie about heart and the human spirit, it lacks both. poor story and character development, as well as sub-standard acting. some nice action, and sure, it was cool to see terminators in the theater again.Poorly made movie overall. for a movie about heart and the human spirit, it lacks both. poor story and character development, as well as sub-standard acting. some nice action, and sure, it was cool to see terminators in the theater again. unfortunately this movie struggled at every turn to shamelessly connect itself with the previous 3 terminators, while at the same time, completely disregarding them. also, special effects were a mixed bag, most times phenomenal, at other points laughable. don't bother.… Expand

I checked it out about two hours ago...and what i can say IT WAS AWESOME. Entertaining and good action flick. Looking rewarding to terminator 5
