This movie completely satisfied me and set itself up for a great sequel. It had great CGI and facial animation which made the turtles seem like actual characters. It had amazing fight scenes and actually made me say, DAMN! great new story and it made me laugh out loud several times. With help from intrepid reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and her cameraman (Will Arnett), the Turtles set out to save New York. While definitely not a masterpiece, but even with its flaws, it still is a very fun and entertaining movie. I'll give TMNT 2014 an A.… Expand

if i could describe this movie in one word i would say it awesome and i recomened it because the anmiations probably makes this the best animated movies for 2014 i was gob smack with the presentation of the movie the plot or storyline is very touching and part keep you thinking. A movie only good by Michael Bay standards and pleasant only as trashy fun. Despite the enjoyable visuals and effects, likability of the characters, and fun and touching moments the film is plagued by a scattered brained plot, plot holes, underdeveloped characters and lack of loyalty to theA movie only good by Michael Bay standards and pleasant only as trashy fun. The movie also suffers from an excessive jokieness that makes the film evoke annoyance more than laughs and also very uneven screen writing and sloppy plot development that doesn't tie up the story nicely in the end. Overall the movie has plenty of redeeming qualities which save it from its script and poor plot and can simply be enjoyed as a stuffed action flick with enjoyable moments with a sub-par plot and screenwriting.… Expand

First comes the live-action movie of " Ninja Turtles " and not projecting anything about the script, and photography, but sobreslae in CGI , and the work of the hot Megan Fox.

I had very low expectations going into the film and didnt expect much. I was very reluctant to see this film, but I did anyways. By the end, my low expectations were met. Several things the film did well was give the turtles some character & humor: something that I wasnt expecting from aI had very low expectations going into the film and didnt expect much. The Turtle's acting was pretty good as well, but the human actors were bad, especially Megan Fox. Also, the film's plot was awful and action sequences were a huge letdown. This movie represents everything wrong with Hollywood. It is watered down garbage. It's Paramount Pictures's pathetic attempt at a cash grab. That's all this movie is, a cash grab. Micheal Bay, the man who single handedly destroyed the transformers destroyed TMNT as well. He did NOT directThis movie represents everything wrong with Hollywood. It is watered down garbage. It's Paramount Pictures's pathetic attempt at a cash grab. That's all this movie is, a cash grab. Micheal Bay, the man who single handedly destroyed the transformers destroyed TMNT as well. He did NOT direct the movie however, he had a large creative role in shaping the movie. The story did not stay true to the comic book. The turtles look like the aliens from Avatar. In the comic books, the turtles are short (no taller than 5 feet tall). However in this movie they are giants. Transformers had giant robots so Bay figured TMNT needed giant turtles. Megan Fox was a terrible choice for April O'Neil. She can't act. She doesn't even look like April. She could have at least dyed her hair and got the ****** hair color right. William Fichtner as the Shredder. Bay mentioned in an interview that he did not feel comfortable working with Asians and found them to be creepy. He said that was the reason behind the Japanese having very little screen time in Pearl Harbor. Racist Bay decided casting a white guy as Shredder would be a good idea. William Fitchner is just as much of a racist for helping to contribute to "Yellowface" in Hollywood. I even tweeted him about it on twitter and he told me to go back to China and blocked me. F him. The TMNT films from the early 90s are far superior and are much closer to the comic books. This TMNT film is much closer to the god awful cheesy 80s cartoon. Michael is basically the Justin Bieber of movies. Or you could say Michael Bay is like a reverse King Midas because everything he touches turns into poo poo.… Expand
