Fun and edgy teen comedy reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. Some genuine laughs here and a scene stealing performance from Miles J. Harvey make this an easy recommend for anyone having a few beers on a Saturday night - 8 stars

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. An actually a decent movie that does have a good message and characters. I'd say though that some of the jokes are mediocre and don't really land and that a lot of the plot is basically Superbad. However, I think Jake Short actually did well with his role and the dynamic between him and Gilbert works most of the time. The only part I felt could be better is the whole magic aspect which had some aspects that could be better. In the big picture though, I think this movie is alright but wont be as memorable as its counterpart such as Superbad.… Expand
