i loved the film. i live in australia and only by chance did i recieve the dvd. i never heard a thing about it or came across much online, which came as a huge shock because it was SO good! plus all the big name actors only made it even better :) the scprit was fantastic and juicy the whole i loved the film. i live in australia and only by chance did i recieve the dvd. i never heard a thing about it or came across much online, which came as a huge shock because it was SO good! plus all the big name actors only made it even better :) the scprit was fantastic and juicy the whole time! everything about Shade was great! :)… Expand

Great cast but some fundamental things really hold it back. As a con movie it’s a 7 but as a poker movie it’s 3/4. Would it have hurt to hire a poker consultant? Poker scenes are hard to watch.

This film has a decent cast but the plot is pretty slow and convoluted. It didn't interest me much at all really. I suppose I enjoyed the shots of people dealing out the cards quickly but otherwise it was pretty boring and certainly not memorable, hence I wouldn't recommend it (if anything,This film has a decent cast but the plot is pretty slow and convoluted. Move over Ed Wood, this is perhaps the worst movie ever made. Damien Neiman made a movie about poker. Unfortunately for those of us who endured through this film Damien has never played a game of poker in his life. A featured aspect of the film is the game of poker, but in the film the rules of the game do not apply. I would think when someone put the time, money, and energy in to making a film they would research key elements.… Expand
