A creatively ambitious bizarre sci/fi horror with an amazingly resilient performance by the wonderful Noomi Rapace. It does have some really schlocky aspects with the plotting and some of the cgi, but overall it's an interesting and semi complex film.

There is some definite source of suspense, here, and a plot worthy of exploring, but the story comes secondary to the visceral torture-porn aspect that is far too common in movies of this ilk. Enjoyable for what it is, but you won't need to dig too far in to it.

She found many other captives who went through the same thing, in the facility where she was held captive. Each was forced to face and experience their worst fear as deliberate experiments.

The settings of the facility were particularly unimpressive, with bad colour combination, nothing compared to the Saw series, which falls under a similar genre. It really spoils the whole film, since it's really visually crap to watch through.

Scares and horror moments feel clichés and forced.

Too many unexplained make the film feels incomplete towards the end, especially since a sequel usually seems unlikely with this type of bad film.… Expand

A film that had some intriguing ideas and wasted it on laughably written characters. Noomi Rapace gives a solid performance here, but the cast around her are hamming it up. Some of the dialogue and scene choices were terrible. It's not all bad but for the most part it's a disaster. D
