everything i want from a 90s cowboy movie. Def underrated and you should def check it out if you have the chance

I think this movie was very under-rated when it was released. But it's actually terrific, much more interesting and provocative than the ponderous Gettysburg. The dialogue is very fresh and reflects 19th century cadences in the same way TrueI think this movie was very under-rated when it was released. There are very good performances from the leads, especially from the great Jeffrey Wright (not to mention Jewel, who is rather touching). In addition the smaller roles are filled with terrific actors like Tom Wilkerson, Margo Martindale, Joathan Rhy Meyers, Jim Caviziel, and Simon Baker.… Expand

Laughable and not in the least bit convincing. Some of the most poorly staged battles I've seen and Maguire is miscast. Ang Lee's worst.
