Like the original the jokes are hit and miss but Return of the Killer Tomatoes! post-modern reflections on genre convention and marketing make it historically an important and underrated movie that deserves more praise. One of the classic undergorund B-movie. Comedy+Horror+Eighties = success!!!!!
This one is still fun today ...to watch alone or better yet with friends to have some laugh with.
Note: It's a low budget B-movie...so you have to use a different yardstick to review this kind of show.
