This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you grew up playing these games you'll definitely like this one. There are a few issues with it though, the main one being the pacing. The movie is only an hour and 11 minutes long but they don't start talking about the games until 20 minutes in, and they spend probably 90% of it talking about the first and second game. They then gloss over the rest of the franchise in about 3 minutes. The audio mix is a little weird too, the music is way too loud.… Expand

A dose of nostalgia keeps the viewer attentive throughout the film, but its merit is not this: its merit lies in the ability of the edition and the script to guide the viewer to like something that he doesn't even know he wanted to like.
