It looked pretty eighties. The use of practical effects was fantastic as everything looked so real! The use of mirrors must have been a nightmare to film. The ghost world scenes looked especially good. The movement was nice but some cuts were a little jarring. The sound was mostly good. SomeIt looked pretty eighties. The movement was nice but some cuts were a little jarring. The sound was mostly good. Some of the vocal filters used were a bit extreme. The music was subtle and good. Shame it was stereo but it wasn't such a big deal. It was a little cheesy. The acting (or possibly direction) was not that great and they seemed like they were reading lines most of the time. The ending felt very forced and rushed. I liked the theme of mirrors instead of a TV but overall it is obviously the weakest of the trilogy although never boring so ultimately entertaining and that is what you want, right? Easily the weakest of the trilogy but still an entertaining conclusion.… Expand

Poltergeist directed by Tobe Hooper in 1982 wasn't scary but it's a damn well made and good horror film with beautiful acting especially from Heather O'Rourke as Carol Ann Feeling who sadly passed away in real life so rest in peace, Heather.. The sequel to Poltergeist which is Poltergeist II wasn't bad but nowhere near as good as the original. So how could Poltergeist III top the previous two movies is the big question we all wanna know and the answer lies deep within this sequel called POLTERGEIST III so sit back and enjoy. Heather O'Rourke returns in Poltergeist III and is living with a bunch of unknowns instead of her proper family in the previous two movies. Nancy Allen and Tom Skerrit (Alien) are looking after Heather O'Rourke vin a high rise complex building. The evil Kane from the second movie although this time not played by Julian Beck returns to wreak havoc on Heather O'Rourke. Sadly the film is laughable with terrible scene after terrible scene and pretty much everything made no sense in this movie and it was poor. The weakest in the Poltergeist trilogy of movies by miles!!!… Expand

Poltergeist III see's the return of Heather O'Rourke but she's now living with relatives or other family members or something in a high rise tower block I think.. Everything seems roses until the evil forces return for her and you see the return of Kane obviously played by a different actor. The acting in Poltergeist III is pretty much non existent and all rather laughably bad however I still liked Heather O'Rourke's performance in Poltergeist III even though not as good as the original she gets my love for still being adorable and a princess but the other characters and acting in the film is hideous. Zelda Rubinstein's performance is cringey, Nancy Allen is laughable and Tom Skerrit looks out of place, Lara Flynn Boyle is a bit silly and the other cast is somewhat dumb...The special effects if there was any are horrible and all we get is cracked mirrors, scenes of fog or smoke, the evil Kane and cheap scares that are more comedy than anything and look pathetically weak and laughably bad... Poltergeist III is one of the worst movies ever made so stick to the original Poltergeist made in 1982 and avoid this disaster of a sequel called Poltergeist III which is a horror but the only real horror was it ever being made.… Expand
