This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not bad, but I do like this kind of sci fi movie much more than the Independence Day type. Although, this had a little too much of an Independence Day ending for my tastes. This would have been a better movie with a darker ending and if they pulled in a a scientific/logical mind to flesh out some specifics. Overall it was entertaining and visually beautiful.… Expand

Great movie. The special effects are great, the story too. A fiction film is mandatory to watch by those who are fans of the genre.

"Oblivion" is an incredible Sci-fi/Action film. "Oblivion" has amazing acting from "Tom Cruise" and "Morgan Freeman". The plot to "Oblivion" is perfect.

Didn't understand anything from this movie, plot is super confusing and wasn't explained very well in my opinion.
Music is pretty very good, and the cinematography is amazing!

Really interesting concept worthy of Philip K. Dick. A strong romantic angle that doesn't feel forced, quite the opposite it comes out as organic to the sci-fi plot. Although Victoria and Jack are able to function as a "effective team," there is a small issue with their circumstance. To avoid spoiling the movie for those who haven't watched it, I won't say what it is, leaving it as that. One aspect of this movie that I appreciated was how, although being an action movie, it still managed to have a highly complex plot with some major surprises along the way. Additionally, I enjoyed Tom Cruise's performance, who keeps shining in excellent films. This one is unquestionably among them, and I consider it to be above average.… Expand
