Do you think this movie represents them properly? Even non-verbal autistic people don't act as if they had cerebral palsy or down syndrome. Maddy Ziegler said she based her depiction of autism on Arnie Grape from What's Eating Gilbert Grape but the thing is that in psychiatric analysis it's described that this character had mental retardation- not autism.
