He is a businessman, and the only reason for his actions is that he could not get justice through the legal procedures. He did not want to be a hero, but he could not stand injustice. The fight scenes are brutal and far away from the heroic fight scenes. Those that we see in action movies and feel energetic to watch. Even the dialogues are not trying to be extraordinary.
