I didn't watch all of it, because I actually have some remnants of a life. But what I did watch made the "THIS IS SPARTA!" joke lose all funniness, made me uncomfortable around my parents and made me want to cry as my slowly liquefying I didn't watch all of it, because I actually have some remnants of a life. I'd say this is typical American humour, all gay jokes and pop culture references, even American humour has a one up on this garbage. I'm surprised these people can't take a hint.… Expand

I hate anyone that claims to like this film. If my friends liked this, I would stop speaking to them. I would agree that the Holocaust never happened long before I would pay to see this film.

When the only highly entertaining part of the film is Kevin Sorbo claiming that he's about to "go Hercules on your ass," there's something wrong. Good thing I didn't have to pay to see it.

I did survive. I watched all 80 minutes of this turd on the belief that it has to eventually get better. The first 10-minutes were as good as it gets. Wow. What was that I think my intelligence level literally lowered after watching this. I didn't even want to watch this but I let the idiot side of me take over me and I watched it. The only thing that kept me from giving this movie a 0 was the part were king leonites was snapping Persians with a wet rag. This movie was only funny maybe ten minutes out of the eighty. This movie was terrible and valgar. If someone wants a good comedy they should watch Mr. Bean's holiday. If any one says that you have no sense of humor after watching this movie tell them to go re-think their life. This movie was awful for that I overly generously give it a one out of ten.… Expand

There is no justice on this earth when good honest hard working people continue to struggle, and the likes of Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer are actually well off. Where do I begin to describe how awful this dead heap of a film this is. Calling this film a comedy makes "The Hottie and the Nottie" Oscar-worthy. With "Meet the Spartans" I did something I never thought I would ever have to do. I walked out of the theatre and went to see another film. It hurts to admit that, but it needed to be done. Violently unfunny. In fact, the only thing about this that makes me laugh is that a movie so creatively bankrupt, so insultingly moronic, so bereft of anything approaching wit can reach number 1 in the US box office. Elmer, I am 100% certain that the people slamming this movie the most are not fans of 300. In case you are unaware: 300 wasn't that great a movie, and didn't get very good reviews.

Only an idiot will find this movie funny. If you are going to watch it you are wasting about 65 - 60 minutes of your life I had to sit through this in the cinema and it was like hell.… Expand

I lost several friends by introducing them to this film predominantly because they killed themselves. HORRENDOUS!!!!! I think that after the other spoofs bombed that people would not try to make more...Like who does this..And the part with the penguin blowing white diarrhea into the guys mouth was just unexceptable and disgusting

Ummm, lets see what don't i like about Meet the Spartans? It has horendeous acting, lame script, and Oh yeah not to mention the fact that its making fun of quality movies.... I guess Hollywood is running out of ideas.

This movie sucks, but all in all that's what he wanted to achieve so he does a great job. But the film doesn't even entertain and it doesn't make you laugh so it's worse than the worst.
