When you recommend "Mail Order Wife" to friends, let them make the discovery about the film's ruse. If you do, some of the creepy fun from Lichi's first marriage will be lost. Funny, well crafted, with excellent performances across the board, this film stands as a more than respectable example of the mockumentary genre.

Not bad. Interesting plot. VERY dark comedy. Eugenia Yuan does a great job as "Lichi."
