Por mais que Klondike tenha uma mensagem forte e urgente referente a inúmeras violações de direitos humanos que escancaram os olhos a cada segundo, dado o impacto dos conflitos entre Rússia e Ucrânia que já se arrastam por anos a fio, de alguma forma não me vi conectado.
Trata-se de um filmePor mais que Klondike tenha uma mensagem forte e urgente referente a inúmeras violações de direitos humanos que escancaram os olhos a cada segundo, dado o impacto dos conflitos entre Rússia e Ucrânia que já se arrastam por anos a fio, de alguma forma não me vi conectado.
Trata-se de um filme frio, de uma fotografia soberba. O ritmo é meio arrastado, a violência é crua, os personagens são poucos. Acertadamente, no entanto, o filme não toma partido para um lado do conflito, restando claro que a desumanidade é a guerra em si. Tanto que o irmão que era totalmente contra os separatistas, causava hostilidade na casa, mas havia uma tentativa de ressignificação, ignorada por ambos os lados.
O casal, em busca de paz, de uma criação tradicional para o filho que estava por vir, via-se na obrigação de mudar-se para um lugar mais seguro, e os minutos de angústia que marcam o conflito entre a evacuação e o perigo iminente de manter-se preso ao seu solo, torna a experiência meio angustiante, ao mesmo tempo que a sensação de "suicídio assistido" toma conta.
Filmes assim ganham contornos intimistas, mas também contornos de cenas intermináveis, que aprecem ocupar espaço para nos fazer agonizar com o tempo. É como assistir a própria casa pegar fogo e ficar imóvel, literalmente, já que a casa fora alvo de bombas e eles não quiseram, ainda assim, abandonar o lar. O separatismo enquanto fundamento político e enquanto imposição moral parece nos dizimar não apenas ideologicamente, mas moral e fisicamente.
Ainda que seja meio arrastado, conta com uma cena poderosa de parto ao final, uma das mais belas a que já assisti, e termina dedicando o filme às mulheres.
É um filme que merece aplausos, pela sensibilidade, mesmo que não me agrade o tom acinzentado, a obra não foi feita para agradar, tornando-se mais um eficiente remédio anti-bélico da sétima arte.… Expand
