With great camerawork, intense yet fun action, and a cast that knocks it out of the park, this movie is a must watch! Samuel L Jackson is at his best in a very long time, making him a lovable villain that you can sympathize with when it comes to his reason for doing what he's doing in this movie.

Kingsman: The Secret Service will teach you how to be a classic gentleman by showing you how cool it is to become one. Men will love this movie for Chivalry is certainly not dead...

Most of the characters were well defined and well played, but the scene where the senseless killing of every single person including the good guy mentor, was sickening and I had to leave before the end. I was saddened to see children as young as about 9 years old at the movie with their parents as that scene was totally inappropriate and complete overkill. I thought the ads portrayed the movie in a more lighthearted manner than it actually was. The R rating was for more than just language. Expand

While the movie was entertaining, it deserves a 0, for it's overt anti christian propaganda. If they did to blacks or Jews what they do to christians in this movie, it would be protested and shunned.

There is a key scene where the hero goes to what I can only presume is the writers interpretation of a "typical" christian church service. All in attendance are bigots, homophobes and "anti-government" types. But don't worry because the hero goes nuts and slaughters all of them during the service due to the mind control rays of the evil genius.

I heard viewers in the audience guffawing in approval at the death of those "horrible christian bigots". Mission accomplished hollywood. Defame all that is good and glorify evil.

At the end of the movie we get to enjoy some anal sex too. Nice job..... NOT.

In a word....appalling ! I want a refund and an apology Unusually graphic violence, Continuously offensive language and brief nudity. Judgmental stereotyping of religious people.
Samuel L. Jackson's lisp was annoying.

I think a better main actor that fit the badboy bill - maybe a Tim Hiddleston or Andrew Garfield would have worked better I think.
Colin Firth does a great job, as does the incredible Michael Caine (although limited in time), and SLJ is a treat as well. All others are second fiddle.
In summary, see it in theaters. if you like Bond-like spy movies. I would wait for it on VOD or Redbox to be surprised.

Violence necessary and part of the joke. They toned it down by not showing too much blood (realistically it should be flowing like a river) and viscera. Cheeky humor. Nice contrast between social classes. Snappy directing.

Lots of forced humor, though there are some truly funny bits here and there. Action is meh... I was not a fan of the fast-forwarding action parts, but the slow-mo action was nice and some of the fight choreography was sweet. For the most part the fights were a let down though. There's significant gore/dismemberment. Theres a sprinkling of parkour in here as well. Had difficulty a handful of times understanding what the bloody hell the actors were saying, but it was for the most part understandable. Some of the dry British humor and jokes went over my head (and most of the audiences, judging from the amount of laughter at some parts and complete lack of them in others where it was apparently supposed to be a funny scene).

Overall, not terrible but not great.

Kingsman:The Secret Service,is the latest and best comic book adaptation of the writer Mark Millar by the director of Kick-ass and X-men:First Class,Matthew Vaughn,it combines the best elements of his style and humor and the tropes of famousKingsman:The Secret Service,is the latest and best comic book adaptation of the writer Mark Millar by the director of Kick-ass and X-men:First Class,Matthew Vaughn,it combines the best elements of his style and humor and the tropes of famous spy-thrillers ,to make a wildly entartaining piece of modern cinema, one that acts as a parody of the modern Bond flicks, while respecting everything that made the 60s,70s Bond movies so much fun.

The casting in the film is absolutely brilliant, from Colin Firth's terrific portrayal of Harry Hart, a British veteran spy, with gentlemanny manners that make us men,to Taron Egerton's portrayal of Gary Unwin,as a promising street kid ,with an abusive stepfather that constantly puts both him and his mother under harsh conditions. The chemistry between Harry and Gary,is excellent ,with them both learning a few things from each-other and becoming more steeped into each-others lives,it is great to watch these two on-screen and their relationship has a reasonable start and moves with a lot of naturalism and great bonding material, that doesn't sound cheesy or boring ,it is just emotional and filled with a lot of heart and soul. The film's villain is absolutely great as well ,Samuel L. Jackson proves to us once again that he is a very likeable and by now legendary actor ,that we all love so much, and Richmond Valentine is a very different character from Nick Fury,Valentine hates the sight of blood, which leads to a few comic moments with his side-kick Gazelle played by Sofia Boutella ,who has prostetic-blade legs, that she uses in greatly choreographed action sequences.Mark Strong plays a convincing mentor, that recruits and trains the kingsmen agents, and the dialogue exchange between all of them is superbly written and acted.Michael Caine has a small but equally important role as Arthur, the head of the Kingsman, and his voice makes him sound like a convincing leader and like a man with a lot of respect and loyalty to his country and other fellow Kingsmen, which makes the twist surrounding him all the more unpredictable and shocking. The story and the characters make a lot of references to other movies as well,My Fair lady,Pretty Woman and so on,yet it's not just for the sake of it being funny, the point of the movie is that sometimes its the poeple that seem like a lost cause, that may end up surprising you and proving their worth, which makes those references smart and well-utilized.The tone stays consistent throughout, even in its extremely violent but spectacular action sequences. In conclusion, everything about the plot and the characters is eecuted perfectly and you stay engaged in the film from start to finish.

Make no mistake though,action-wise,this is the best Vaughn has ever been, his style and use of blood, gore and gadgets is breathtaking to watch. The direction is the reason to that,Vaughn evolved as a filmmaker, the action is widely shot, with not a lot of cuts or editting, the film has absolutely zero use of shakey-cam,which both makes it cool to watch and appropriate to the veteran spies ,who have many years of martial arts training.Vaughn allows us to soak in the action and enjoy what we see,he is a risk-taking director that is not afraid to show the audiences what he envisioned,he understands the action world masterfully and is able to add some stylish choices along the way to make the extreme violence be as fun and light as possible. There is a church scene here ,where all the doors are locked and Harry is forced to fight of about a hundred of Hate group church members, the scene is a masterpiece of modern cinema,an astonishing 6 minute fight ,shot in one-take ,that elevates Vaughn over other filmmakers such as Guy Ritchie even and looks gorgeous, with the sequence set to the song of Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, possibly the best and longest guitar solo you can get, which accompanies the action with such brilliance and adrenaline, that it almost seems like a never-ending ballet, which invloves fight choreography rivaling the Raid films. The action is equal to the story and characters, and both are awesome.

In the end ,as a fan of both Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn,I must say that Kingsman:The Secret service, represents all the things I love from these guys, all the things I love from spy-thrillers and all the things i love in a good movie, that's why this film is so fantastic and one of the very best.

What could have been a great start to an exciting new super-spy series is dragged down by tacky, sophomoric humor and gleeful violence that sometimes goes so absurdly off the rails that it overwhelms the excitement and the story. There were several times that my eyes rolled so far back that they practically fell out of my head.

I understand that Sam Jackson's silly lisp and over the top scenery-chewing were part of an attempt to update the James Bond super-villain but for me it was distracting and outright annoying, causing me to dread his time on screen.

Sadly, if Kingsman gets the sequel that it so clearly expects it's unlikely that they will use that opportunity to balance the elements; they'll have to out-do this film's excesses to appeal to it's intended audience of teenage boys who likely won't object.

The physicality of the Bourne movies, the political intrigue of 24, and the gadgets, outlandish villains and world ending schemes of the old Bond movies. It is funny, action packed, and full of pitch perfect performances. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Some funny lines, some amazing stunts, all sorts of annoying holes in the plot.

They lost me at thirty seconds into the film...five soldiers are questioning a terrorist tied to a chair and *surprise* he has an explosive vest. One soldier jumps on him *boom*. Both bad guy and good guy seem to be intact, yet the other soldiers don't bother to check to see if the soldier is dead, they just take off their helmets and "dammit, he was a fine man, he died to save us all". I would think that checking for explosives would be fairly basic thing to do before questioning someone, and overall if someone stops moving, it's often premature to start saying what a great guy they were before, I don't know, checking for pulse?

Then of course, as a reward for jumping on the baddie, the son of the soldier years later gets a shot to be James Bond Junior. Of course normal training would be boring, so let's send him to a cross between hunger-games and hogwarts and make it a winner-takes-all competition. Why train and prepare eight fairly good agents when instead you can make it a contest so only one can be the winner. Harry, Katniss? That you? And why teach them to, I don't know, throw a punch or shoot when instead you can flood their dormitory for no reason to see if they can survive or see if they can precision parachute and land on the logo of the school. Of course for no apparent reason they are issued a puppy and (spoiler alert) the final challenge is they are handed a gun and they have to shoot their own dog.

Does this film have a villian? Yes, Samuel L Jackson with an annoying lisp who invites the super-spy to his mansion and for some reason serves McDonalds to the super-proper british super spy as some sort of attempt at a racist joke..."Well I say old chum, those charming black yanks..." He has a homidical assistant who has prosethetic feet that are swords.

The conflict of the story is that the evil 'Valentine' gives free Sim cards to everyone, then manages to convince all the world leaders to join him and have a little circuit board sewn into their neck. Spoiler alert, the sim card turns everyone into a homiciadal maniac and the circuit board seems to have two purposes, it's a tracking/listening device and it makes your head explode. Spoiler alert, everyone turns into a homicidal maniac and those foolish old government leaders all have their heads explode (and it's colorful too).

This movie aims to be a kid film, yet, let me count, we see a whole church full of people violently killed, the mentor to the hero--he is shot and killed point-blank, the villian is impaled on some three foot sword thing, there are the typical '500 guards who cannot hit the side of a barn with an automatic weapon' yet die instantly when the hero hits them, and of course we have the head of every world leader explode.

This is a long film where if they cut about 1/3 of the scenes and spent about 1/3 more on writing a better plot, they would really have had something. This is one of those films where if you were really stoned, you would just totally be lost and have no idea what was going on, yet you would enjoy it.

Trying too hard to be like Game of Thrones or 300 - limits the market

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. "Kingsman : The Secret Service is not a perfect action movie or deliver something new , but for sure it delivers a lot of fun "

After a disaster start of Hollywood action movie of the past couple months for example Jupiter Ascending , Taken 3 or Blackhat , we're hoping that the director Matthew Vaughn who brought us a lot of great movies like Stardust , Kick-Ass or X-Men : First Class will come to change this bad flow of Hollywood Action movie .

First thing first , this movie is pretty fun to watch and i love the decision of Matthew Vaughn to embrace that "Over the Top" of this movie and make the movie out kind of a mix between brutal bloody action scene and the black comedy stuff which makes this movie pretty unique.

One other things that need to be talk is the Action Scene , it is really great and it proof that Matthew Vaughn can really directed the action scene well with his beautiful camera angle , camera movement and the flow of his characters movement just feels so alive that make the action scene always feels really cool.

But i have to say that Kingsman : The Secret Service is not a perfect movie , with it's plot is pretty repetitive and predictable.

The Characters them selves is also pretty repetitive and kind a boring with the same back story that has been used for like 100 times already , for example the mentor who wants to redeem his sin in the pass by taken the new crew , the bad guys that sees the human evil and try to "safe the world" in his way , the stepfather who always do bad things try to harm to the hero and his mom , a kid who lose something in the past and has to redeem himself and so on , these characters are so repetitive and also not set-up well enough to make me care about them that much.

I also like the point of the movie that tries to satire the politics , class of society and Global Warming problems , unfortunately these point of the movie has not been dig deep enough to make it memorable or make me feels like these point of the movie are actually really really big deal in the real world , which is kind of a shame.

Overall Kingsman : The Secret Service is not a perfect movie by any mean , it still have a repetitive plot , repetitive boring characters and sometimes the bad set-up of story by Matthew Vaughn , But even then it is still a fun movie to watch especially with it's amazing action scene and over the top black comedy style.

The action is cartoony, blood, excessively violent, and over the top. Most of the characters in this film are clichés and the story is filled with tons of tropes and clichés that you’ve seen before but its so much bloody fun! Samuel L. Jackson is fun and over the top as the villain. The action is a blast to watch for all the reasons I just said and the humor is good providing some good laughs and clever satire. This is a film that I didn’t expect much out of and I’m glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was. Every year that is that big dumb action movie that is a lot of fun last year it was Guardians of the Galaxy, the year before it was Pacific Rim, this year it is Kingsmen. We are in the dry season and dumping ground of film where nothing great comes out as I eagerly await the two or three good films that will come out in the summer while waiting for the last quarter when all the best films will likely come out. In such a time a fun film like Kingsmen is welcomed with upon arms. Its a cross between Kick Ass and James Bond and the styles are meshed perfectly, it doesn't take itself seriously at all, the acting is very well done, its funny and some of the scenes are over the top outrageous. The firework scene was my favourite and unlike anything I've seen in a movie before.

I really hope there's a second film, I enjoyed the first much more than I thought I would.

It takes inspiration from a time when spy movies were all about thrills and over-the-top villains with insane plans, rather than the more serious and believable plots and elements you'll find in spy movies today. The film is incredibly aware of this and approaches it with a sense of giddy self-awareness. It even goes as far as to have the characters have conversations about it. Yet, while the film clearly wears it inspiration on it's sleeve and has no problem pointing it out to you, it's also very much it's own thing. It takes the formula of old and reinvigorates it with it's own unique concepts: Hyper violence and a smart*ss sense of humor.

All of the pieces come together masterfully here. Matthew Vaughn shows incredible talent as a director here and the work of fight choreographer Guillermo Grispo is unbelievable. The action is meticulously put together leaving for some incredible and exciting scenes to behold. Action junkies have never seen anything like this before and it is not to be missed.

To top it all of the movie is funny. It's absurdist style makes for a movie that is a joy to watch. Everyone is cast perfectly. Newcomer Taron Egerton is a treat to watch in action. He shows real talent in his first film. You would never think he wasn't a veteran actor. Simply put "Kingsman" is a movie not to be missed. It hits every note near-perfectly. It does new and exciting things for the spy movie genre that other directors should take note of. It's one of the best comic book movies ever made and, as far as I'm concerned, an absolute must-watch.

Some jerkoff "professional" reviewers have managed to bring down the critic score on this, but trust me, I don't even like comic book movies and I loved this. It's what the Triple A 100 billion dollar comic movies should strive to be.

I actually did expect a lot more action. The trailers did ruin the movie a bit. I had higher expectations than what the movie gave me. The action though, is epic and a hell of a ride! The music is very fitting and the humor is freaking awesome. The plot is great and sick as it should be. Other than that is it cool, epic but an overrated movie. But it's still great to watch, and I will do it again soon!.

Samuel L. Jackson was absolutely amazing as the villain, and his rapport with Colin Firth was wonderful--their shared acknowledgement of spy movie tropes made for some great meta moments. However, I found the plot wasn't quite compelling enough to keep me engaged for the long-ish runtime, especially since the ending is a bit drawn out. It straddled the line of satire and sincerity in an interesting way, mocking and embracing the genre's tropes simultaneously. It was a solid movie with a lot of amazing sequences, but for me it just didn't quite come together. However, I should freely admit that spy movies are not my favourite genre, so there were probably references I missed out on. Still, an enjoyable romp-y kind of movie with fun action and dialogue. I think I heard that he was one of the many directors attached to the latest "Star Wars" movie at one point, but he decided to do this.

All I am going to say is this...it is the month of February and you know what that means, if you are a "Movie Buff" like me, you'll know that February is the death month of cinema, a month where nothing goo comes out. Yes, I am looking at YOU 'Fifty Shades of Grey' (2015).

Luckily, "Kingsman" is actually one of the best movies that has come out this entire month.

The movie focuses on a secret spy agency which is led by a legendary spy named Gallahad (Colin Firth) who meets a young man named Eggsy (Taron Edgerton) who grows up and joins the secret service.

The main villain in this movie is played by a very funny and charismatic Samuel L. Jackson who speaks with a lisp. His main plan is to make everybody switch to a SIM card that will supposedly corrupt the rest of the civilians.

The cast also includes Michael Caine and Mark Strong in very sophisticated performances. This movie reminded me of 'Hot Fuzz' (2007), the high octane violence and British feel to the movie took me back to that movie. It's very funny, but it's still strong in the storytelling arc, and still very thoughtful despite the over-the-top violence.

I'll admit, the movie isn't exactly perfect (then again, no movie is), it does get a little cliche towards the third act and, without spoiling too much, when one main character doesn't return, it does get a little routine. But it's still lively and very funny.

I wouldn't necessarily say to go see "Kingsman" at the cinema, it is worth waiting to rent, but if you want to upstage "Fifty Shades" in terms of box office gross, watch this movie as many times as you can. I have not seen 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and I don't plan on to, I'm glad I spent my money on this, even if it did get a little underwhelming. I do have a gut feeling that "Fifty Shades" will unfortunately upstage "Kingsman" in the box office, but hey, to reassure any of you, you'd be glad to know that on Rotten Tomatoes, so far, "Fifty Shades" has an embarrassing 25% rating, while "Kingsman" has a much better rating of 74%. Get in!!!

The film perfectly combines an original mix of comedy, action, drama and the outright bizarre. The audience is drawn out of their seats in the prospect of marvellously ridiculous action sequences, whilst additionally brought back down to earth through realistically powerful themes. Whilst the films protagonists are developed with great quality, the film's antagonist, Samuel L. Jackson, steals the show with a brilliant portrayal of a power driven maniac. The combination of exciting action sequences, a thrilling narrative and brilliant character development, help to create one of the most fun films of 2015 so far. Expand

Director Matthew Vaughn has been constantly on my radar as one of my favourite genius in commercial filmmaking, I have watched all his previous four features, from LAKE CAKE (2004, 6/10), X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (2011, 7/10), to my absolute guilty-pleasure treasures STARDUST (2007, 9/10) and KICK-ASS (2010, 9/10). His latest is by all means a thoroughly engaging adventure with unconventional violence and visual gags, which all delightfully surpass viewer’s expectation.

A modern take on old school spy movies that isn't afraid to make fun of itself. Kind of like Austin Powers meets Kill Bill.

The movie has every spy movie cliche in the book, and yet instead of inspiring a "ho-hum" response, it awakens a spirit of nostalgia akin to why we liked the Bond films of old. Lots of action, and British wit that reminded me allot of the Avengers series (the English Avengers, not the ones from Marvel.)

The dialogue and plot are all very campy and over the top, but the movie embraces it and does its best not to take itself too seriously. But make no mistake, this isn't a comedy, it's action through and through. The comedy is just from clever writing and likely will only be understood by those smart enough to comprehend it.

Overall:
Kingsman is 60s/70s style spy movie set in modern times using modern technology and writing. It isn't meant to be taken seriously and is tribute to old school spy movie. If you want no nonsense serious action, then this isn't for you. If you want some action but also a bit of a giggle, then I highly recommend this movie.

I figured I was in for a generic by the numbers action flick when I had such hopes for the movie. Then a funny thing happened, the movie just as quickly became absurd. I mean you literally go from a poor recreation of a chopper shot over a CGI winter cabin to the ludicrously violent introduction of the main villains second in command. It never really stops, there's some generic story telling to be sure the "Down on his luck achievement in the face of adversity under dog" story is so commonplace it's banal at this point. But this movie is funny and unafraid to be fun. It could have seriously fallen apart but never did to the point that I didn't enjoy myself...except for the butt sex thing at the end. Didn't like that. Otherwise fantastic film Vaughn has an eye for filmmaking that really is unmatched currently in film. The characters are generic, but that makes them easy to understand with so little backstory to go on. The action is crazy, the comedy comes naturally, and their are some genuinly innovative ideas here. It's such a great time that it made me feel the rare urge to hope for a sequel. Even without though, it's an outstanding rush for the senses

I’ll be honest. I was expecting of a really grounded spy movie which unfortunately, it isn’t. It was probably because I was expecting a compelling plot with a great back story or something. However, just because it’s not a grounded spy movieI’ll be honest. I was expecting of a really grounded spy movie which unfortunately, it isn’t. It was probably because I was expecting a compelling plot with a great back story or something. However, just because it’s not a grounded spy movie doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. I loved it actually!

I liked how this movie is a homage to the earlier spy movies but it still stands as its own movie. The movie had a meta moment when it discusses how two of the characters in the movie (in which I won’t spoil) missed how fun spy movies used to be and now current spy movies are too serious. With the homage as well as the meta moment, this movie is going to delight spy movie fans more.

While this movie doesn’t have a compelling plot, the movie does a good job developing the main character Eggsy played by Taron Egerton. The father-son dynamic between Eggsy and Harry (played by Colin Firth) is excellent.

The humor is quite dark, witty and funny. Valentine (played by Samuel L. Jackson) delivered the funniest lines in the movie with Harry being the close second.

The action scenes were excellently shot and choreographed and this is from someone who doesn’t generally care about action scenes. It’s one of the best strengths of the movie that kept my eyes on the screen.

Kingsman: The Secret Service will satisfy the spy genre fans more but this movie is still fun for the general audience like me who wants a good yet fun movie.

It's great to see a movie released in 2014 still have the charm of a classic film, Part of witch could be from the movie being based off a comic book as well. The action in this film is mapped out perfectly, With a great mix of plot and action that never feels out of balance. This film will also make you laugh with the main character always quick with a one liner to throw in. Kingsman surprised me I must admit tho, From previews etc I didn't have high hopes for the film but 30 minutes in my mind was changed..I loved this movie. If your a Fan of Old Spy movies or not you should still take some time to watch "Kingsman: The Secret Service" you will not regret it, Unless you don't like extreme violence then maybe skip this one Expand

Kingsman: The Secret Service gets so many things right that I can't even begin to cover all the bases. First things, this movie gets action right and has a perfect amount of it. You don't sit through the movie thinking that the subplots are boring because they never overstay their welcome and if you think they are boring you can rest easy knowing another beautiful action scene will come up soon. Jokes are perfectly placed for comic relief and never feel out of place or forced, the cinematography is beautiful, and the movie gets away with being a meta spy movie by being just dancing around it. Even if you didn't understand a word I said, watch it. Expand

If you love spy movies, action movies or movies in general you will love this movie. It has everything an action movie should have, a great soundtrack, no shakey cam, likable characters, and a great villain. Samuel L Jackson (95%of the movies that have come out in 30 years) does a great job as the villain, the lisp he has just makes his character better. The plot isn't the plot of the century or anything but it does make up with a spectacular church scene (if your easily offended then don't watch this) If you haven't seen this by now watch this. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A really weird mix of comedy, that is not that funny, and action drama, which is only somewhat entertaining. I did not like this movie. The scene that destroyed its little credibility was the Kingsman killing all those people in the church, which came out of nowhere I thought in the films progression and did not serve any bigger message or theme that the movie was trying to say. It has such unnecessary and gory violence, I was turned off by that and didn't really care much for the rest of the film. The main character, Eggsy, is not so likeable and I didn't see much character progression from his training as a Kingsman, only his combat abilities. He should be more gentlemanly in my opinion and a more mature person, but he seems only slightly more mature caring about saving the world however still does not respect others much, only Harry slightly. This movie in my opinion either needed to be a more serious action drama or a far more funnier comedy. As it stands, it is a boring and dull comedy/action movie, with little to no plot or characters to care about. : Why people liked this movie so much....I guess they have very low expectations for movies. I'll stick with Casino Royale and classics that put this movie to shame. Expand

One of the best espionage films I have seen. It, being a little of a parody of James Bond, has a really good story, beautiful shots, really unexpected twists, and it will make you laugh from the beginning to the end, also having really nice action scenes, really well directed and with a camera work really masterful. But really, the action scenes were really awesome, perfectly choreographed, and I just love the fact that here really is presented a combination of old school British spy films to modern day action espionage. The movie is unrealistic, predictable and ridiculous in some parts, but it is that in purpose, which makes it even a better film, really fun to watch and very entertaining. The acting is great, mainly by Samuel L. Jackson playing and excellent, original, eccentric, really cool and funny villain. The story is a little unoriginal, but it’s nothing to be concerned about.
Definitely, watch Kingsman, with no doubt.

The movie has extremely over the top gore, and an almost parody like feeling to James Bond movies. The humor is extremely solid, with almost every single joke getting a good laugh out of me. And unlike mindless action movies such as Furious 7, this movie had a pretty engaging plot. Everyone in the movie gave in excellent performance, and the musical score fit each scene just perfectly. Everyone calls this movie 'fun' and 'an awesome spy movie' when all I saw was some confused writing and bland characters being thrown on film. And don't get me wrong I know it's supposed to be a parody of the old spy movies but it's seriously executed poorly. I mean, even from the first moment of the film you're confused when the bouncy bubbly letters of the title come in and you think to yourself "What spy movie introduces itself with bouncy letters??" This is just a taste of some of the confused writing that the film contains. Honestly there's not much more I can say about this movie without repeating myself but seriously I don't recommend this movie to anyone but I guess I'm wrong because whenever I bring this movie up to my friends they loved it so I guess I'm a minority here. To drive the point home, Samuel Jackson is the villain in this movie. Cool right? No, because they turn him into a backwards-hat-wearing teenage douchebag who spouts catchphrases and language that makes no sense in the movie. The only thing that saves this movie from a 1 or a 2 out of 10 is the action scenes that are fairly well choreographed and use slow-motion to actually show the action and it's pretty well done. Other than that though I didn't find anything worth seeing. Expand
