Jurassic Park is Steven Spielberg's finest work. This movie is ahead of it's time. The story and special effects were too grand for 1993.

The movie had a different story for that time. The execution of the story was also good. The movie is made in such an indulging way that you may keep all the negatives of this movie aside (if you find any). The acting was good. The pacing and editing was spot on.

The movie feels fresh even after so many years. You will enjoy it everytime you watch it. Overall, I will recommend this to everyone. This movie must in everyone's watchlist.

Classic 90's popcorn action flick. Spielberg is in his element here with Crichton novel and the chance to use his imagination & CGI to it's full extent.

In 1975 Spielberg's made a very terrifying shark movie called "Jaws", now he's making a dinosaur movie called "Jurassic Park" that for me is even way terrifying, in fact, i've rather called Jurassic Park a "Masterpiece" than a "dinosaurIn 1975 Spielberg's made a very terrifying shark movie called "Jaws", now he's making a dinosaur movie called "Jurassic Park" that for me is even way terrifying, in fact, i've rather called Jurassic Park a "Masterpiece" than a "dinosaur movie", Spielberg's is back on top, making a classic film that everybody will remember, Jurassic Park fills with not only a terrifying dinosaur, but an amazing performance by all the cast, Jurassic Park is special, why?, well one of the reason is because John Williams incredible score, without his score Jurassic Park isn't gonna be as perfect as it is, overall Jurassic Park is another incredible work from the great Steven Spielberg. The dinosaur effects forever changed how dinos were portrayed in Hollywood. The movie science actually makes sense and the practical effects as well as the computer effects that still hold up as of 2021 are a high point of this movie. Jurassic Park must be one of the most iconic movies of the 90's. Using jaw dropping effects and revolutionary technology to change dinosaur movies forever. While Jurassic Park changed my perception of movies forever it does have some gripes IJurassic Park must be one of the most iconic movies of the 90's. Using jaw dropping effects and revolutionary technology to change dinosaur movies forever. While Jurassic Park changed my perception of movies forever it does have some gripes I never saw until re-watching it today. Characters can often be on and off we developing characters just outright stopping in its tracks a third of the movie in. Well what else is there to say about Jurassic park? Other than that minor gripe, Jurassic Park is a phenomenal thriller full of Dino's, running, tension, thrill. Music is really good, john Williams knocked it out of the park. Gripes aside, this is the most nostalgic and thrilling movie of my childhood. Expand

Jurassic Park is a technical landmark, and it proves that Spielberg is a gifted director who can make simple escapism into something more special.

90/100

A classic. Rewatching the saga before the penultimate film on the 10th June. Some of the dinosaurs have aged in their CGI but it’s still stunning. Especially the Tyrannosaurs and the Velociraptor(s) The start of the film builds up very well to the drama and action sequences. I still feel bad for the lawyer and Muldoon, even Arnold’s death is unwarranted. I feel like the only two who deserved to perish to their creations were Hammond and Nedry, the latter did. This film is amazing though. Like I can’t really discredit it. Not 100/100 because there’s a few notable plot wholes and scenarios that make little sense. Firstly, Harding and Grant continuously point out the dangers of the Raptors, and you’re telling me they didn’t have a backup generator installed for their enclosure specifically. Secondly, what happened to all the builders and external staff when the dinosaurs escaped, how did they get off the island, and where did they go? This is never really mentioned. Sure they could’ve left when Nedry did but ALL of them, Nah.

One of the best movies ever created. Just watched it in theaters for the first time in 3D for the 30th anniversary release! Prefer the movie without 3D but was surprised how good it looked for never being created with 3D in mind.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In a world where a theme park filled with real-life dinosaurs is the ultimate tourist attraction, what could possibly go wrong? That's the question posed by Steven Spielberg's 1993 cinematic masterpiece, "Jurassic Park." And the answer? Well, let's just say things get a tiny bit chaotic.

From the moment John Hammond (played with sprightly optimism by Richard Attenborough) utters the words, "Welcome to Jurassic Park," we're transported to an island where the wonders of science, hubris, and nature collide in a symphony of awe and, occasionally, sheer terror.

The film delivers a visually sumptuous feast of prehistoric marvels. Remember that first glimpse of the Brachiosaurus munching away on treetops? Or the heart-thumping dread of the T-Rex's approach, signaled by those iconic ripples in a cup of water? Spielberg masterfully marries practical effects with early CGI, creating dinosaurs that feel so real you'd think you could reach out and pat one (though, for safety's sake, please refrain).

Our cast of characters, from the skeptical Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) to the tenacious Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), are equally compelling. Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm, with his dark charm and zany one-liners, is a scene-stealer, making chaos theory sound way sexier than it has any right to be. And let's not forget the kids, Lex and Tim, who remind us that while adults are busy discussing ethics and playing God, someone has to figure out how to reboot a computer system and save the day.

On the humor front, "Jurassic Park" serves up a buffet of comedic moments to balance out the nail-biting tension. From the sarcastic quips of Malcolm ("Life, uh, finds a way") to the sheer irony of a T-Rex saving the day in a grandiose finale (no spoilers, but let's just say it's a cinematic "clap back" for the ages), there's no shortage of chuckles amidst the chaos.

In conclusion, "Jurassic Park" isn't just a movie about dinosaurs. It's a tale of wonder, ambition, and the unpredictable consequences of meddling with Mother Nature. And while it might make you rethink that dream of opening a dino-themed amusement park, it will undoubtedly reaffirm your love for cinema's ability to transport, amaze, and delight.

So, if you're in the mood for a film that combines cutting-edge science, age-old ethical dilemmas, and an occasional bout of dino-induced indigestion (RIP, goat), look no further. Spielberg's dino classic remains an enduring testament to the magic of movies and the perils of underestimating Velociraptors.

Remember, folks: Just because we can, doesn't mean we should. But when it comes to watching "Jurassic Park"? We definitely should.
