Far-fetched and ridiculous.

Its the third film of the "Jurassic Park" saga and tells the return of Alan Grant to Isla Sorna, of the second film, and that Alan never have thought to visit again in his life. He eventually returns, convinced byFar-fetched and ridiculous.

Its the third film of the "Jurassic Park" saga and tells the return of Alan Grant to Isla Sorna, of the second film, and that Alan never have thought to visit again in his life. He eventually returns, convinced by a couple who hides her true intent with that trip: to rescue a child who was lost on the island.

Its the only film in this franchise that has not been directed by Steven Spielberg, one noted and notable absence throughout the film, which reveals itself, scene after scene, increasingly far-fetched and unbelievable, to the point of becoming absolutely ridiculous and we almost wish all end up devoured by dinosaurs. The director, Joe Johnston, proved that he only serves to direct comedies (is the director of "Jumanji" and "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"). The script is a shame and looks more like a parody of Spielberg's movies than something that we should take seriously. The characters are totally improbable, and who saw the first movies will never believe that a child can survive with such dangerous animals more than two or three days. The only positive note is the performance of Sam Neill, lending talent to a film that should have been lost in the bowels of the dinosaurs he portrays before coming to our homes.… Expand

One of the worst films I have watched, saying this as a Jurassic Park fan! It felt like watching a short film! Less plot more action! Should have balanced a bit. Still, this film did not kill the fanism I have Jurassic Park films

Unpopular opinion but I prefer this to the second one, Dr Grant is back, its on an island and the Dinosaurs are developed further. It's no good as the first one, but also is a little worse that the second one, the plot is terrible, the performance is also bad, but if you love dinosaurs, this film will like you.
It's not a masterpiece, more like a popcorn dinosaur movie.

I do not know why they say it is so bad, it seemed to me a funny, strange and great movie, the second best chapter of Jurassic Park after Jurassic World, and this movie made my favorite dinosaur was Spinosaurus ...

Aside from nostalgia and just for the sake of saying you watched the movie, there really isn’t any reason to see it again. There isn’t a reason to care about the characters, and there’s an even bigger chance you don’t give a Spinosaurus Turd about their chance of survival. There is a very high chance however that after the first 30 minutes you’ll immediately go back to the original for the 700th timeinstead if suffering for 90 minutes throughout this movie.… Expand

Jurassic Park 3 was a bad movie and unnecessary sequel. This movie didn't have charm, originality and grasping power like the original. Instead, it was boring, unnecessary and sufficient to give you headache.

The concept was very bad and so much simple for this franchise. The direction and the acting wasn't that good. I also missed the original cast. I don't know why studios agreed to make a 3rd movie when it didn't have a proper story instead, it was just a rescue mission for a boy who went alone paragliding. Seriously? Overall, this is a bad movie and weakest in the franchise, which I think should not have been made as it effected the classiness of the franchise.… Expand

Gosto muito dessa temática de dinossauros, a atmosfera é excelente. A performance de Sam Neill como Alan Grant é a melhor de todos os Jurassic Park e World. Um dos meus favoritos dessa franquia.

Whenever I re-watch the Jurassic Park saga I always end up saying to myself: ‘Do I have to watch this film?’ Then I reluctantly do and I remember why it is really bad. Then I get into it and I’m like this is alright, then the raptors let the humans who stole their offspring live, for no reason other than Grant being able to poorly attempt their language

I could and I personally would give this a lower rating but because it’s still a fairly high-budget movie I will give it some credit. The visuals are, for the most part still top-notch, the dinosaurs look good in most scenes. I will say, the herbivores look way worse than the dinosaurs did in 93” which is pretty damning The story is lame. I have no idea why Sam Neill reprised his role for this 90-minute rip-off. This movie is just so half-arsed. It’s like when you start a youtube video and just shove a bunch of bare-minimum content in after the first half expecting it all to just magically work. In the case of JPIII that is not the case, it just sucks.

It has entertaining moments but the Kirby’s are painful, I hate their characters, Eric is the typical anomaly for a failing family and OF COURSE they all live happily ever after at the end. I’m bored writing this, I hate this film, it’s boring, lazy, and unimaginative.… Expand

Not a great film, doesn't really feel like it belongs with the other films, but Sam Neill returns so that was a plus, but the story overall is pretty stupid and far-fetched. Also, not happy with where the characters of Alan and Ellie ended up.
