Summary: Joe Caruso's a 21 year old that virtually has it all: brains, brawn, a loving family, a beautiful girlfriend, and he's a hockey star. It is his family pride and fearless determination that drives him to join the Marines and take part in today’s War on Terror. Well acted, realistic portrayal of what happens to a Vet that waits for PTSD treatment. A modern day "Deer Hunter" look at the ripple effects of war for the young people of today.

Michael Markiewicz is awesome in this film about the struggles of PTSD. A Solid film, about a very real issue. great cast and heartfelt story. Joe Lisi, Armand Assante, Ed Asner, Tom Sizemore and Louis Vanaria are exceptional along with a very talented cast of supporting actors. I thought this movie was well written. The message that was presented of the struggles our servicemen go through upon returning from war was powerfully portrayed by the leading actor. The supporting cast helped to make the story of his battle with inner demons very real. There were momentsI thought this movie was well written. For a first attempt at producing, writing, directing, and everythingelseing a movie, the filmmakers get an A plus PLUS. And on top of that they address a tragic social issue, an issue that will come out of the shadows because of the movie's creation. Kudos to all involved in Joe's War.

This movie put PTSD in the four front and makes people aware of the heartaches that our Military go thru, not only for the Military, but their family and friends as well.

What a powerful film about a topic that is rarely talked about. The writers did an amazing job with showing the stages of PTSD, and the actors brought so much emotion and heart to the film, it was hard not to get attached to all of them. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, smartly written, and well-acted. Brings to life the struggles many of our brave soldiers have gone thru upon returning from combat.
