Summary: Jiang Ziya, a top commander in the divine army of the Kunlun Sect, is victorious in the battle between the Heavenly powers and the Shang dynasty. Before he can ascend to his new position among the Gods, he is ordered to execute the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon who threatens the mortals' very existence. Jiang Ziya is a big story, an incredibly complex mythos not unlike Hercules, and unfortunately it never finds its beat. Like many films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the story of Jiang Ziya is far more concerned with big epic punches rather than complex character weaving, and earned pathos. Read full review

Everything is epic about this animation, or Donghua as the chinese say it, which roughly translates as "moving painting" and is the equivalent to the japanese Anime. Its grandeur comes from storyline, music, characterization, the message, and ofcourse the animation. Nice movie. The story is great but is a bit confusing with so many names. Visually stunning. Got a lot of emotions after the middle of the movie. The translation is really good, the voices over too.
