Co-directors Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen have told a very, very small-scale story when you look at what happens in the actual physical world. Pixar finally broke out of the Pixar mold. Toy Story, Monsters, Bugs LIfe, Cars, etc, were feeling like the same basic story just with a different looking set of characters. Inside Out still has some of the classic Pixar moves, but they added some nice original moves to make this feel likePixar finally broke out of the Pixar mold. While I give it a 10, it is not perfect, but it is one of the best animated movies in years. Yes, the ending is predictable, but how they got to that ending is not. It is a well thought out universe with characters you can love.

If you love Pixar movies, this is a must see. If enjoy animated movies, very good chance you will really enjoy this. If you love mindless violent animated humor, skip this.… Expand

This is Pixar's greatest film. A tightly constructed masterpiece of CGI storytelling that manages to condense heady themes in a way that anyone of any age will grasp and understand, all the while maintaining a great sense of fun and visual splendor.

Heading into this movie, I had high expectations, since it is Disney/Pixar, but I also thought that I wouldn't thoroughly enjoy it, for it would be too juvenile. But I was wrong. Never boring and with an all-star cast, this movie proves to be a thrilling and exciting experience for kids and adults alike. It really is very fun. Very funny, too. I guess the only thing I didn't enjoy was the predicatability. I would've also loved to listen more to Disgust and Fear. The return to Pixar golden age. Inside Out is original and brilliantly animated (as you would expect for a Disney film). It also has a beautiful and subtle soundtrack, which contributes to bring up the insane amount of emotion and honesty the movie displays.

Even so, its best features rely on powerful imagery, cleverness and conceptual discussions: it is one of those movies you can watch several times and discover new things again and again. In a couple of moments, the movie might be excessively abstract and thematically challenging for small children (something I have never seen in a Pixar movie, their movies respect and don't underestimate kids as other animations. But in this one, subjectivity has reached new levels). However, it's nothing that can really harm the overall experience for them: at most, parents will like the movie more then the children.… Expand

A light and sensible way to convey what we feel so that there is an easy understanding of the public. A film with no age, despite using the colors as an attractive child among others. Now even feelings can be portrayed in a subtle and entertaining way. 8.3/10

the good dinosaur was beautiful, my girlfriend love this movie that means that im disagree with her >:(
