The phrase "who knew Renner was funny?" has been tossed around a lot in reviews for this, but it really is true. Renner continues to surprise by giving one of his most charming (and hilarious!) performances to date, successfully leaving his tough guy smolder smoking on the back docks of big time studios. Dallas Roberts is equally good, and has excellent chemistry with Renner. While Dallas is more of a central character, his relationship with Sam was my favorite part of it. Overall, a little rough around the edges, but a great feel-good film, funny, and even a bit inspiring. Highly recommend.… Expand
