Hardcore - one of the best films shot in Russia for the last 10 years. To shoot completely the film from the first person a great idea, to watch the movie through a a VR Headset cool. i don't think the term 'mind-boggling' ever applied to a movie more than this. The effects, editing, stunts all are amazing. Not to mention that it was shot on GoPro cameras, or on a budget of $2million, over a 3 year period, effects alli don't think the term 'mind-boggling' ever applied to a movie more than this. The effects, editing, stunts all are amazing. This movie was so amazing, it actually was one of the best if not the best one I've seen in the recent years. I had alot of fun just watching the it over and over again. Hardcore Henry. The only thing missing is VR glasses. Great first-person shooter! I don’t remember that such films were still released, so that from the very beginning to the very credits you saw the world through the eyes of the protagonist.Hardcore Henry. I don’t remember that such films were still released, so that from the very beginning to the very credits you saw the world through the eyes of the protagonist. Huge respect to all those who played Henry throughout the film and if I'm not mistaken, in some moments he (Henry) was played by the director himself. Humor is also on top, for this is also a huge respect. Sharlto Copley who played Jimmy was excellent and handled all the scenes and gave a very memorable character to this film. The music is also highly acclaimed, especially Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" towards the end of the film. I would love to see a sequel or something like this.… Expand

Invite couple friends, open up the cold one and have fun! Movie is simple about the plot, but the action is awesome and have to give some credit to the director, his first full length movie. Combining all the elements of a thrilling sci-fi, espionage, first person action shooter video game into one movie is pure artistic genius. At first this movie gives the impression of just another mindless action movie with no plot during the opening credits scene. However, after the opening scenes with (Tim Roth) passes and henry is being revealed, the atmosphere of mystery mixed with anticipation leaves me wondering where the movie is about to go next. The movie makes a steady build up by the time the main antagonist (Danila Kozlovsky) is introduced and the lab is breached, to the scene where henry is fleeing the aircraft to begin his testing. After that the movie does not disappoint once for the course of the entire film as it delivers not only nail biting suspense as henry goes on his valiant quest to uncover the mystery of his existence, but it also delivers a ton of laughs with it's genuine, brilliantly engineered jokes and mature humor. Another element that makes this film truly magnificent is its amazing soundtrack combining various genres such as; Punk Rock, Disco and Pop to make a truly unforgettable and party filled experience .I must also commend (Sharlto Copley) on his fantastic performance, serving not only as henry's guide/partner but as the intriguing, quirky and hilarious second main character in the film.… Expand

Um filme pra quem ama FPS e amaria ver algo parecido nas telonas.

A trama é muito simples, e lembra muito a campanha de um jogo do gênero, principalmente a "boss fight" final. A cinematografia até que ficou boa, tendo em vista que é a primeira vez que vemos um filme inteiramente POV, no cinema - ao menos, eu acho... A trilha sonora é sensacional e alguns personagens são divertidos.

É como se esse filme fosse feito por eu e meus amigos, e eu adorei isso!… Expand

The "first-person" aspect of the film initially made me think it was just a gimmick, but it ended up being far more entertaining than I had anticipated.
