I watched this in a local mall and my expectations for this movie is quite low because, for myself, it is an another generic, cliched Korean horror movie that does not deliver genuine scares and dread.

At the beginning of the movie, it seems uninteresting at first but as the movieI watched this in a local mall and my expectations for this movie is quite low because, for myself, it is an another generic, cliched Korean horror movie that does not deliver genuine scares and dread.

At the beginning of the movie, it seems uninteresting at first but as the movie progresses it becomes interesting and quite spooky. The CGI for this movie is good and not some generic, lackluster effort. The characterization of the cast is quite genuine and performs their acts well. The eerie atmosphere in this movie adds some tension to the seriousness of the film. I despise the lighting of the movie though, it's quite dark and needs improvement over the lighting conditions. The movie manage to pull some different idea on the premise which I think, in my opinion, is an asset for this movie being a good and decent film. Not only the movie itself that is terrifying but also when you googled the setting place and you found out that the abandoned asylum is a real life abandoned establishment in South Korea, it adds another dread to people who just loves horror films.

Rating: 8/10 -> 4/5 stars… Expand

This is a very good entry in the found footage genre with actual decent acting and a good reason for them to be in the asylum. Because of the low quality cameras you are constantly searching the shadows for whatever lurks within them.

I've always liked watching real life horror stuff and also fictioned videos/movies with realistic camera angles. This movie gave me one of the best experiences with the real life feeling. It was like someone really recorded this and shared. I watched this movie 2 years ago but what made me comeback and review it was a game that I came across on Steam named "Deadly Broadcast". I believe the company was inspired by this movie. To conclude, I really like this movie because of the realistic camera work and the acting. I cannot say it's a must watch but if you are interested in the genre you should give it a chance!… Expand

I hate this film at all because I was never scared when watching it. It didn't make me believe that anything paranormal was going on. Like in the beginning the guy in the control room directing everyone on what to do and telling them good acting. It just gave me the sense that these people are faking a paranormal haunting in a fiction movie. Like I was just wondering the whole time was this all set up to make it look real by the team, are they all just acting like they're scared? I know in real life these are actors acting out a paranormal investigation but I just couldn't believe they were playing people carrying out a paranormal investigation actually being haunted. Even towards the last 30 minutes when stuff gets interesting, like the team leaders finally admit they were faking (we totally knew that was coming) it fails to be horrifyingly scary, interesting but not scary. Although this is coming from a person who has viewed alot of horror genre films so I might just be numb to this film..

Don't waste your time watching this rubbish! Unworthy!… Expand
