Like the real Trump, [Depp] delivers a bizarrely magnetic performance, and that magnetism is enough to hold the whole enterprise together, even as the intentional incompetence of the film-within-the-film threatens to sink the final act. Read full review

Other than skewering Trump, both personally and politically, this is obviously a rather slim construct. And while Depp throws his all into perhaps his hammiest role since Jack Sparrow, it probably would have benefited from a bit less length and a tighter focus. Read full review

A very funny, 50 minute undertaking that, as ridiculous as it is, probably isn't too far off from what this moron is actually like. Depp crushes the Trump character. A terrific comedic roasting for anyone who can see through this jackass and his naive ideas about the world.
