As illuminating as that article may have been, though, Emptying The Skies, a documentary based on Franzen’s story that borrows its headline as its title, ultimately makes a more searing imprint on the psyche. Read full review

A very thought provoking documentary that questions the very nature of the speciesist hierarchy. While at times the filmmaking can get in the way of the story, there is some impressive footage shown that emphasizes the importance of animals.
