The happy surprise of Ek Main aur Ekk Tu a Bollywood romcom that bears a vague resemblance to "What Happens in Vegas," is that it's not crude, sniggering or vindictive. Instead it's rather sweet and sometimes even a little unexpected. Read full review

Surprisingly able to make Las Vegas look romantic, "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" is good, light entertainment. I haven't seen any other Bollywood movies so I can't comment on the quality other than to say you *do* get synchronized dancing in this movie and that it focuses on young, good-lookingSurprisingly able to make Las Vegas look romantic, "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" is good, light entertainment. I haven't seen any other Bollywood movies so I can't comment on the quality other than to say you *do* get synchronized dancing in this movie and that it focuses on young, good-looking people from upper-middle to upper-classed backgrounds trying to enjoy their lives (No need to worry about discussing social problems or violence with your date afterwards). I liked that (without spoilers here) it doesn't fully adhere to romantic comedy conventions and it has some laugh-out-loud moments but otherwise its kind of predictable. It doesn't have an MPAA rating but it's hard to see how it would get any lower than PG-13 based on one montage that includes implicit drunk driving and driving with a passenger holding an open container. Otherwise something you could take your grandmother to if she's cool with the idea of annulling a Vegas marriage.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Our very own Indian lass, goes to Las Vegas for romance. Yes, this is a perfect example of a rom-com which was based in an affluent environment to give everything is cool and positive feeling. Boy meets girl and there erupts a friendship which will eventually culminate into love. Although, the movie was a breather as compared to the other barrage of subjects which are too hard-hitting therefore giving us a fresh lease. But nothing refreshingly new as such, we have seen this before, and we know what happens.

Kareena Kapoor as Riana is good, fresh, bubbly, positive and Imran Khan as Rahul is tongue in cheek, too rigid almost to a point which he presses his shocks thanks to his ever-so particular parents. Over all a good light film to be enjoyed with a tub of popcorn.… Expand
