Summary: American thief, Simon Keller (John Cusack), arrives in a foreign country in need of a getaway driver. There was a time when the very presence of someone like John Cusack could enliven otherwise normal movies, and lift worthier ones onto a higher plane. But films like Drive Hard are too slapdash to even allow for coherent performances, let alone movie-saving heroics. Read full review

The movie was watchable in the sense that you didn't know what's coming and at some parts it was interesting. Still, the acting was quite bad (I might be wrong though as maybe I just don't like Aussie movies lately), and the story at the end unfolded in really stupid fashion in my opinion.The movie was watchable in the sense that you didn't know what's coming and at some parts it was interesting. Basically John Cusack's character takes a driving lesson with a driving instructor who is an ex car racer and robs a bank and makes the ex car racer do the driving. There are some funny moments in the movie, but there are also are some quite stupid moments too, which just doesn't make much sense either plot wise or just simply. Not the movie I would suggest, but if you don't have anything better to see you can try this one… Expand

Ok first thing that led to me to this film, is the cast, because i already like John Cusack, and Thomas Jane. That being said... this film flopped, it failed in being intriguing, I stopped watching after 20 minutes, to me the story and characters did not grip me...

I kept thinking something was going to happen. Not only does nothing happen, but they annoy you the whole time with terrible acting, bad lines, and idiocy. I feel dumber after watching it. What happened to John Cusack? He's the only reason I watched this. I wish I hadn't.
