But there is a certain charm to how much it sucks that makes it kinda fun when watching with friends

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The juno refrence was hilarious, aswell as the chipmonk refrence. My kids however didn't understand the crude humor and i was generally appalled. My parents who were 80 and 88 didnt get why i was laughing so hard during this movie, but they still had a good time. I host a neighborhood watch party in my back yard on sundays, every other week we play this film. Noone has walked out so far.… Expand

Not sure what the disaster in the title means, since it mocks a wide variety of films and celebrities. It is indeed a very bad film, but there is at least an occasional gag here and there that work, but no where near often enough. There was a few chuckles but the story was cliched and the acting was below average. I've definitely seen better comedies. And by the way, it looked like the movie was on a REALLY low budget.

I have not seen any of these movies and you couldn't pay me to. But I have two comments. If it's as bad as everyone says criminals should be forced to watch it the same way as Alex is forced to watch the violence in Clockwork I have not seen any of these movies and you couldn't pay me to. If I had to name one, this is the worst parody film ever made. Jokes are randomly put in that have no relevance to what is going on, the acting is terrible and everything else in between cannot save this. Avoid all costs.

Disaster movie is, well, a disaster. It's a shame to all spoof movies, even worse than Date Movie and Epic Movie, which is saying a lot. I find the end credits song catchy, ironically, that's the only enjoyable part in this whole film.

I think the review from Entertainment Weekly should be discounted. Whoever gave this film a 58 should be shot in the head, this movie doesn't deserve the bandwidth it takes to host this aggregate. Normally I wouldn't criticise a film I had never seen, but Friedberg and Setzer waived that right after Epic Movie. No way am I paying for this crap again. How are Hellboy, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Juno, High School Musical, Kung Fu Panda etc. disaster films? Shouldn't a film called Disaster Movie involve, oh I don't know, some kind of disaster movie parodies? You'd have to be stupid to not see how ripe that genre is for parody... well, I guess this is Frienderg and Setzer we are talking about. Also, the fact that these no-talent hacks would try to rip off films such as Hellboy, Iron Man and Kung Fu Panda, ie. REAL films made by TALENTED people, is like spitting in the face of anyone who has ever made or watched an enjoyable movie. I think the Razzies should be renamed the Friedberg/Setzer Awards, because they are clearly the people/things who personify the worst aspects of the film industry better than anyone else.… Expand

Every time you go see one of these movies just know that your paying the taxes to these directors houses when their only source of comedy is when someone farts or gross out humor. We wonder why everyone else in the world sees America as stupid and so egotistical. Well they probably watch movies like these and say wow they are entertained easily. So please listen to me and maybe we can prove that we are an intelligent country. This should be made for torture tactics along with listening to the Jonahs Brothers because then we would surely win the war in no time. Every time you laugh at a joke in this movie please punch yourself. I admit i laughed at how bad Date Movie was but to back up what i think i punched myself. I have learned my lesson now though because this movie is not so bad its good. Its so awful that its a disgrace and it is the reason why critics should be able to add negative numbers to their score. A 0 is too generous because thats a whole number, it's time to switch to integers and dig into the negatives. Goodbye… Expand

Ever since Epic Movie, things got really bad, meet the spartans, and then Superhero Movie. And now this. It's just terrible. The directing makes it senseless and emotionless. The title explains what the movie will turn out to be very well, a disaster. Seriously? The trailer doesn't even look the slightest bit funny even if I were a little teeny-bopper. These people must be stopped.

Cinematic brilliance. This movie surpasses mediocre pictures like The Godfather, There Will be Blood and No Country for Old Men. Disaster Movie should change its name to Winning every award ever made Movie, because thats what its going to do.

Damn, I predicted this would be s**t...me and a lot of other Youtubers...and we were right. I only needed to watch half of the movie via bootleg... wasted my time BUT saved money.
