At first it looked like a more serious film but that fades quickly and the predictable formula of buddy cops runs immediately, even feeling very similar at times to Rush Hour and although their chemistry feels somewhat forced they manage to hold the film for most of its execution. The problem is that it never becomes as funny as you would expect or as exciting as it think it is.
