It's sad to see mercurial talent unused, and even more disheartening to see it completely wasted. Color of Night, the first film in 14 years from director Richard Rush, is a dreadful miscalculation of a comeback; a sexual thriller equally lewd and ludicrous. While undoubted ridiculous, this film is campy and fun and generally easy to watch. From a critical point of view, the acting is questionable as best.
