THIS SHOULD BE A 20, unfortunately the scale only goes to 10. I cried, I laughed, and at the end i bought another ticket and saw the showing after that. This was an epic masterpiece. Step aside Mr.Peter Jackson, because this director just blew King Kong out of the box office. I love the THIS SHOULD BE A 20, unfortunately the scale only goes to 10. This movie is not great, but it's a lot better than the critics' ratings. As a parent of seven, I especially enjoyed the small touches of realism (like mom tossing back into the van the empty soda cans that spilled out as the kids unloaded). Even as a generic hollywood movie its bad, practically no laughs unless you take the mickey out of it- only a couple of actors rate and steve martin isn't one of them. Who cares about the charactors - no one in my family did - couldn't wait to get in out of the dvd player.
