Catch Hell has physical torture and sexually explicit mind games. It has a star who seems resigned to his fate and willing to give up and savage bumpkins straight out of “Deliverance” ready to take out their hatred of Hollywood and Hollywood values on him. That description gives this simple, ferociously feral thriller more depth than it deserves. Read full review

I actually enjoyed watching this film. Not the most complicated film, to say the least, but exciting in an awkward, exotic Louisiana way. The main reasons I was interested in the film were: filmed in Louisiana, and Ryan Phillippe. Did I mention Ryan Phillippe? I agree with tvnewsguido,I actually enjoyed watching this film. Torture Porn. Pointless.

Strange thing - there is actually an interesting comedy movie inherent in the concept - Actor kidnapped/kidnappers use social media to damage his reputation... Instead, Phillippe goes for the "Hostel" thing. I'm just not interested in watching someone get beatenTorture Porn. Pointless.
