The best movie of this trilogy and among the best of Marvel. The movie has a lot of characters (about 15 or more), but it still tells Cap's story and Origin ends it in this trilogy.
The movie shows us a version of Spider-Man that is not bad at all and makes us want to see his own special movie.
The movie is full of action sequences, which are among the best of Marvel and the entire history of comic book adaptation.
My film is full of sequences that refer to their source and the rest of the comics. But none of these are the strengths and achievements of the film. The achievement of the film is that, like the action sequences, it has given a purpose to each character. That is, in the world of Iron Man comics. It was actually a bad story, but here it also had a purpose and we wanted to see who would win until the end. This is the achievement of the film.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Not even close to the comic book version for sure. Way more toned down and safe for the normie audiences for sure. Still I liked it enough and the ending was pretty epic for sure.

Captain America: Civil War does everything that Avengers: Age of Ultron didn't do and does it ten thousand times better. It's not an Avengers 2.5, it's the actual second Avengers movie.

Action and visual effects are top as always, especially, when the super heroes are fighting each other

But somehow there are too many characters and this isnt a Captain America movie in my view, it is an Avenger movie.
Also I didnt like the gender mainstreaming elements in the beginning of the movie.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I like the premise of the movie but I feel like the way it was set up was weird. Tony Stark was responsible for Ultron, and the Sovokia Accords are being debated upon because of that crisis. Why is Tony Stark the guy in favour of the Sovokia Accords? Tony is an arrogant a-hole I'm not exactly convinced that he changed in this movie, it would make more sense if Tony was the man to go against the Sovokia Accords.

And what makes this whole movie even more frustrating is that in the middle of the movie they pretty much acknowledge that their not going to follow the accords anyway, so what's even the point of this movie? Why are they fighting each other? It also feels like their trying their hardest to not be political, in a movie about a war of good vs good over a political agreement. If the directors wanted to get political with this movie, they should've just embraced that and go with it. Sure it may have not been as popular, or as watched as it has been, and it would be a lot more controversial and all.

But at least there would be some kind of reason for this movie to exist. But on a positive note, I really enjoyed Tom Holland's Spider-man in this movie. 5/10

It's surprising how similar Civil War and BvS really are. Both films attempt a realistic superhero story, but stray a little too far into a CNN-like political debate. However, Civil War works where BvS didn't for several reasons: Its themes are treated with more intelligence, its technical execution is far superior, and because the audience already has an attachment to both Captain America and Iron Man, the conflict between the two heroes holds much greater weight. In an attempt to kill Rogers one of the terrorists blows himself up, and in telekinetically diverting the explosion Maximoff accidentally destroys a nearby building killing several Wakandan humanitarian workers in the process. The event leads to the United Nations seeking to have greater control of the team and creating a divide between them.

It fully delivers and got the Russo brothers even more attention and fame. It is based or inspired by the huge Civil War Marvel comic event. This was epic as it put heroes against heroes, tore apart teams, families and friendships while having serious impacts and causalities. While we were talking before who is stronger or the better hero now we were talking who was right or how much is acceptable in the security vs freedom dilemma. So the expectations were high for the movie and it fully delivered. It is a gamechanger and will have impacts even up to Avengers Endgame. Lets start with a set up. Approx a year after the events of Age of Ultron the Avengers are on a mission in Africa. However not everything goes smoothly and so the United Nations want to make some additional rules for them. Bucky struggles with his past as Winter Soldier and newfound freedom while Helmut Zemo a former high ranking officer from Sokovia (Devastated by collateral damage in another movie) starts a scheme that will change everything. The story is magnificent. It works well in tandem with the characters. You can understand their motivation and feel their emotions, struggles and doubts. Also they gave us Spiderman and Black Panther. Both characters are well introduced and I wanted to see more of them. Of cause the action works well and the airport battle and final fight are awesome. This is the strength of the Russo brothers. They mix great stories with character development and garner it with humor and action. Bonus: This movie gave us a lot to discus. Be it morals, philosophies, security vs freedom or who is right and wrong (Both sides have their pros and cons). Lets continue with the characters. We have all Avengers except Hulk and Thor. The main characters are Captain America / Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans and Tony Stark / Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. Both are truly excellent and make this enjoyable. To be fair I see Tony Stark also as villain in this movie while I also admit that Steve makes some bad decisions. I continue with the newcomers. Chadwick Boseman works incredibly well as T’Challa / Black Panther. I am always amazed how the MCU made all the right choices for their characters. Same goes for Tom Holland as Spiderman. Only a shorter appearance but he also works so well that I wanted to see more. The established characters work really well to. Be it Scarlett Johanson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Elisabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd or Don Cheadle. Everyone delivers and is worth watching. For the villains we have of cause Tony Stark who is not that much wrong. I say he is misguided and fails to see the bigger picture. The United nations in the MCU works not better than in real live and I do not want them to make the important decisions (if they can get even anything done). If you think I be harsh just google Rwanda genocide to see one of the hallmarks of their failings or what they got done to solve the Syrian war. Back to the movie. Then we have Daniel Brühl as Helmut Zemo. For me one of the best villains in the MCU and underrated Clarification: Of cause he is not as good as Thanos or N’Jadaka from Black Panther. I like him because I can see myself in him and T’Challa does this too as he walked the same path. Also he is just a normal human and pulls this of. Well done character and very good acting. I think I should also praise John Kani as T’Chaka and William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross her. In total an awesome cast and great performance. Presentation wise this movie is amazing. The special effects are excellent and enhance the scenes. Everything is immersive and believable. It is a hallmark of the MCU. It ends not here as the sets, costumes and choreography is also well done. There is no misstep here. The soundtrack rounds up this presentation. There are some slight negatives. I am surprised which side Black Widow picked and Vision too (but to a lesser content). Also some things should have more fallout. But those are small nitpicks in an amazing experience. Overall this was an amazing experience and a must see for me. With this all Captain America movies are great and the Russo will even go up to eleven with their next movies. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Captain America: Civil War is my favorite film in the MCU. It delivers on every front possible and has fantastic performances from every substantial cast member, whether lead or supporting. The fights and action set-pieces are some of the best you’ll see in a Marvel movie and raise expectations for future films. The dialogue is top notch and the writing and directing overall are superb. This is a culmination movie but is structurally very different from the two Avengers films that came before it; this works well to its advantage since it gives us a big breath of fresh air. This is the first movie in the MCU that really focuses on the consequences of actions, and references previous installments in the process of doing so. Via this, Civil War is one of the most realistic and believeable movies in the franchise, other than the abilities of some of the characters. Civil War forces the Avengers to ask important questions about themselves as a team and their role in the world and in doing so puts them in difficult positions that have massive ramifications for the Avengers as an organization. The Avengers have had fights and disagreements before, but this movie takes that to another level and it’s fascinating to watch them as they attempt to work through it. The writing and directing allow for multiple different storylines to converge without taking away from any of them, and they combine really nicely to add depth and emotional impact to the film. Daniel Bruhl’s Zemo is one of the more complicated and convincing villains in the universe and his performance as the character is great, making Zemo a worthy yet unique adversary to the Avengers. Civil War highlights key character changes and furthers arcs for many of the Avengers, beautifully setting them and the team up for next outings. Civil War is also a great blend of humor and seriousness and introduces some big new characters smoothly. Overall, the film has a lot of finesse and is one of the most enjoyable and complex ones in the whole MCU, and is a must-see for Marvel fans. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Back when I had watched Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War for the first time, my verdict was absolutely clear: Batman v Superman is clearly the superior one of the two. In Batman v Superman I wanted Batman to win and that's what happened, while in Captain America: Civil War I wanted Iron Man to win but he lost. So I had already made up my mind - I was gonna hate every scene, every character and the whole story of this movie. I completely ignored what made this movie so great, just because it showed Captain America win. I had initially given this movie only 3 stars, but now that I gave it a rewatch, I have realised how wrong I was.

The thing that made this movie so great is what the stakes were. After the destruction that had happened in Age of Ultron, the Sokovia Accords were introduced. By convention anyone would think that Steve Rogers will support it being the patriot that he is, while Tony Stark will oppose it being the capitalist that he is. And if that had happened the entire movie would have come crumbling down. But instead, the opposite happened. Steve opposed it since he had seen what the Nazis were capable of, while Tony supported it since he was feling guilty of what happened over there. So here instead of their differences being created on the basis of their superficial ideologies, it changed to their personal ethics.

The team that they assembled was not based on similar reasons though. Spider-Man, War Machine, Black Widow, Vision, Scarlett Witch, Falcon - all of them took their sides based on their likeablility. Peter and Rhodes, for example, liked Tony so they took their sides while Wanda and Clint liked Steve more so they took his side. As a result the airport battle resulted in Black Widow changing sides. If she had taken sides with personal reasons, she'd have never done this. Black Panther was the only one who had gone against Captain because of his father's death, and he wanted revenge.

Zemo was also a great villain. He was very underappreciated until Falcon and the Winter Soldier came up. He really deserved a lot of praise for his master plan. He made the Avengers fight among themselves, tortured officials and finally made Tony try to kill Bucky. Unlike Ultron, who was the previous big villain, Zemo actually seemed like someone who could do something on his own because he had a complete idea of what he was fighting and what all could be put on the stakes if he really wants to create a rift among the heroes.

The fight scenes are the only thing I have a problem with. All the fight scenes which have Black Widow or Hawkeye in them always have tons of jump cuts. This was quite visible in the fight from the beginning of the movie. In the end however, the fight of The Winter Soldier alongside Captain America against Iron Man was pretty well choreographed. The makers of this movie didn't make it seem like Iron Man was weak. The situation was created such that Iron Man couldn't win. His suit was uncharged, he was emotional, they were in close range and he only wanted to incapacitate Captain America. If it had been a proper fight Tony wouldn't have wasted a second to turn them both into pulp.

And finally what satisfies me the most is the comeuppance. Captain America and everyone who sided with him got arrested. It felt so good seeing Black Widow get what she deserves. This is probably one of the only MCU movies that actually had a consequence, something which only started happening in MCU after this movie took the bold step. The bad things that happened in this movie affected what will happen in the future. Otherwise one only those characters used to die who had been introduced in that very movie, bad guys always lost, the characters who had died came back to life (looking at you, Infinity War; especially Loki and Gamora).

Now that I have learnt to appreciate the good movies, I ahve seen that Captain America: Civil War is actually a very powerful movie. This is a term I use for movies which look great and are great, overall a masterpiece. It's one of the most memorable and impactful MCU movies out there. I'm really sorry about trashing this movie previously. Now that I've grown up, I've also grown into liking it.

The connection to the previous film, "WinterIt was with pleasure that I saw this film from the cinematographic franchise "Captain America". It is a franchise that has given rise to increasingly extraordinary and visually ambitious films. The connection to the previous film, "Winter Soldier", is very present, but I confess that I was left with the feeling that it would have been better to see the "Avengers" franchise first, in order to better understand the film, and the relational mechanics of the characters. I remember, as I said in other reviews, that the world of comics is a maze that I do not dominate at all.

The plot revolves around a tense situation: after having made a lot of victims and material damage in their operations (finally, someone realized this), the Avengers were punished: they either subjected themselves to UN supervision or were considered outlaws. While the leader, Stark, accepts the impositions, Rogers sees them as an unfair limitation and bets on going his way, even if he breaks with his colleagues and, especially, Stark. At the same time, a subplot develops around Bucky Barnes, Rogers' childhood friend, and his mysterious past.

The script is complex and full of details, subplots and nuances that can escape our gaze if we are not attentive or do not know the Marvel universe reasonably. I felt that sometimes the development of the script didn't quite know which way to go or what ideas to develop, and that several characters appear because they really had to be there, if only for a couple of minutes. The central core of characters, however, receives a very good treatment and has time to develop. I thought it was a little strange to see Spider-Man among all these people. He looks a little out of place. And in a film so loaded with good and great heroes, I missed a truly charismatic villain who balanced things out a bit.

The cast is a real nest of stars: it is huge and full of notable names. Of course, the protagonist is Chris Evans, as Captain America. He is already fully acclimated to this character and knows perfectly what to do, and does his job flawlessly. Robert Downey Jr is the eternal Tony Stark, a character he was born to do and who does in an exceptional way. Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan continue to be excellent, as they were in previous films. Paul Bettany seemed strangely robotic until I realized that he was really playing an android. Chadwick Boseman was excellent, serious and very focused. Elizabeth Olsen was fine, but not brilliant, and the same can be said of Emily VanCamp, in a relatively bland performance. Anthony Mackie showed up little and Don Cheadle just did what he really had to do.

Technically, it is a film worthy of Marvel and of the quality to which it has accustomed us: it is an extraordinary and stylish visual show, where every detail has been thought out in a meticulous way to increase the audience's visual and auditory experience. Cinematography is great and the filming work has been wonderfully accomplished. Visual, special effects and CGI work add sparkle, power and visual depth. The editing work was very well done, with precise cuts and great balance. The action scenes, especially the one at the airport, are good and will satisfy the appetite of Marvel fans. The sets and costumes were also very well done and look authentic. The soundtrack is quite good, but I didn't feel it was something that was really in the ear.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Captain America Civil War is iconic. It will be remembered as the go to example of how to have two protagonists, two good guys fight each other while keeping their characters consistent. It already has larger studios trying to imitate its success and failing to reach the high bar it sets. It perfectly executes the story it wants to tell. However, I feel that everything besides the narrative and characters were unmemorable and unnoteworthy . Creating a realistic scenario where the just, patriotic, noble Steve Rogers and the reformed, changed Tony Stark and not making it feel forced is no small feat. Full credit to the Russo brothers for masterfully crafting this narrative. The key to that narrative being the main antagonist of the film Zemo. Zemo is definitely in the upper tier of Marvel villains. A masterful performance by Daniel Brühl combined with a masterful script and backstory come to make a compelling villain. When it comes to villains in an action movie, brain will always triumph bron. A smart, clever villain will always be leagues more interesting than a villain that is simply buff. Zemo is the perfect example of this, he reminds me of Heath Ledger's Joker or Light Yagami, a smart villain with a genius plan. His charisma is nowhere near the level of Light and his look and performance is no where near as iconic as Heath Ledger, but his plan is absolute genius. Aside from the villain, every side character gets fleshed out as well throughout the movie. Black Panther is introduced, and given a stronger character development than in his stand alone movie. Wanda and Vision start to develop a very cute relationship that I'm sure will never, ever be exploited through a dated TV show on a barely relevant streaming service. Spider Holland is introduced, Black Widow continues to be true neutral in the mcu alignment chart, Hawkeye is here, enough said. Taking a step back from character analysis, my overall takeaway is that the movie succeeds in what it sets out to do with flying colors. It sets up a civil war between IronMan and Captain America, explores both their characters further and delivers solid action scenes. So why isn't this movie a 10/10? Honestly, as sad as it is to say it's because it's part of the MCU. The movie doesn’t do enough new things to shake up the MCU or it's characters. Looking at it, you may disagree. Spiderman and Black Panther are introduced, Wannda and Vision develop a relationship, Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers fall out and don't speak to each other for years!. It's everything else that feels way too similar, nothing except the characters stand out. The music is unmemorable, the sound design as a whole is bland and flat. Camera work is once again unmemorable, lighting is flat and set design is boring. The best word to describe everything besides the characters and narrative is unnoteworthy. It's not deserving of scorn, but not deserving of praise either. Ultimately, Civil War is a great story, with good production value. No major changes would be needed to improve Captain America Civil War just smaller tweaks would have made a world of difference. Expand

This movie felt more like an Avengers movie than a Captain America movie. I loved it. The airport fight scene is one of the most epic battle scenes in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Awesome! My new favourite, so far at least.

What an absolute joy 'Captain America: Civil War' is! It made 147 minutes feel like so much less. Great action, enthralling story, sharp humour and some impeccable use of the many, many characters; even introducing two new faces to the MCU. I won't spoil who, but they are massive additions and I love what they give to this.

It gives the perfect amount of screen time to all involved, there is no-one I wanted to see more or less of - it all felt very natural too, big kudos for that. Chris Evans is terrific, this is his best performance as Captain America thus far in my opinion. Robert Downey Jr. continues to impress, as expected.

Sebastian Stan as Bucky also sticks out, I didn't love that character in his preceding appearances but in this I really did connect with his story. Anthony Mackie and Don Cheadle remain good fun, while Daniel Brühl plays his role very nicely. Elsewhere, Paul Rudd's inclusion is amusing.

The whole film, as is normal in these productions, looks stunning. They are incredibly well made. As noted at the top, this is more new favourite from the MCU - surpassing 'Captain America: The First Avenger'. I guess there's no hiding who my standout avenger is, eh?

The only 'but' I have for this is the title. It's practically an avengers film. I'm not saying it's an ill-fitting title, I get it's the titular character's arc, but I feel like it does the film a slight disservice - it's impacts much more than Captain America.

That's not a big deal, at all, though. No doubt in my mind: this is superb!

The Incredible Hulk isn't very Incredible.
Edward Norton gives a good performance but the concept of Hulk itself just seems tired. There is no new outlook on the hero just simply a repeatedly mediocre take on a very one dimensiona

First things first, this is an Avengers movie in disguise. Sure, Captain America is somewhat the focus, but the emotional core of the story comes from the conflict between every member of the team, especially Steve and Tony.

This movie surprisingly holds back on the action to give us many scenes of characters talking and debating. That's not to say that there's no action, 'cause there's still a lot, but the main conflict comes from the more relatively quiet scenes. The action is just a culmination of the tension set up there.

I really love how the big bombastic battle isn't the climax. The climax is instead a more personal and visceral fight between three characters. Also, Zemo is one the franchise's best villains.

It's just a great movie all around and possibly my favorite MCU movie. RIP Chadwick Boseman.

Rather than the threat of Earth's destruction, the Avengers face a more intriguing challenge; internal conflict created by the clashing ideologies of Captain America and Iron Man. Each character's motivations are clear, and neither is completely right or wrong. Zemo, an ordinary man, proves to be more effective at trying to tear the Avengers apart than Loki or Ultron. Though the story is darker and heavier, Civil War is still as entertaining as any other Marvel movie. It doesn't lack action, and the new additions Black Panther and Spider-Man shine in their limited screentime. Personally, Civil War is my favorite MCU film. Expand

Russo Brothers are six-pack energy drink full, the after party is too much and fortunately the phrase, the more the merrier, against all logic, works.

Captain America: Civil War

Russo Brothers is painting the best of what this franchise can and does offer. This peak of MCU pulls every cat out of the bag they can, with political correctness that it breathes and a thrilling blood for blood revenge that it dwells on. This sci-fi genre that MCU has been claiming it so arrogantly uptill now comes alive in this final chapter of Steve Rogers. The film is not only confident but thought provoking where the makers being aware of the influence of these characters over the decades, crafts into the storytelling wisely; one of the primary reason why Zack Snyder's Dawn Of Justice fails to communicate with its momentum.

What Joss Whedon failed to do in Age Of Ultron, Russo Brothers, the directors, does it with such ease that the previous chapter seems like a joke. The depth that this film breeds in this accused franchise is impeccable in context to the passion of finally even attempting to raise bigger questions that not only puts its banner on trial but also exhales satire in those dinner table conversations. "..and conflict breeds catastrophe" so obvious is that conversation yet so enlightening on reaping the flag with a propaganda written in bold for each character in that room that may or may not emit their views.

"It must be hard to shake the whole double agent thing, huh?" whips Downey to Johansson that has a much more gasping effect than any of the staged battles in the film. Probably the most underrated antagonist in the franchise, all his clips edited and sprinkled on the storyline is much more nuanced that your usual scenarios in MCU, "there is a little green in your blue eyes.." he concludes and you know then and there with a satisfying feeling that the film has succeeded along with Daniel Bruhl that spirals out what they call it Civil War, he, an empire fallen.

The most remarkable scene is of course the battle in the airport (I'm part of Cap team... don't hate me) but let's not forget the last battle. The story is good and not generic. In a way, they win and lose at the same time.
They did a good job, taking into account that they introduced new characters. This movie is darker, but the humor has been used properly. We had a good villain, Zemo. He had a good motivation not a bland one (I'm bad, so I have to destroy the world ...).
Some action scenes have been filmed with many cuts (I'm not a big fan) and I do not like the color correction (most of the movies are so, unfortunate).

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

The moment to momentCaptain America: Civil War, is one of the greatest crossovers in super-hero history. The way this film really tears apart beloved characters and adding political messages without shoving them in your face is amazing. The moment to moment action is beautiful, fast, fun, and is shot rally well. The new introduced characters are really enjoyable additions. Spider-Man came back home her and they brought in Black Panther. There is never too much going on because the film has a consistent narrative. The villain is never fighting the heroes yet he is their greatest foe. His backstory and motives make sense and how we see him bring down the Avengers is super entertaining. The humor and writing are all almost perfect. Characters aren't rushed in and the film takes time without going to fast. The plot with the other Winter Soldiers is used a diversion and subverts expectations. The emotional ending is the cherry on top the already amazing film. Zemo's plan however feels very strange and he just isn't in the film as much as he should be. Overall one of the best marvel has made. Expand

This one was really close to be the best MCU movie, but then it just went in a very wrong direction that I really hated... And this very wrong thing is, the length.
I think that it really wasn't necessarily to be 146 minutes, cause I was bored sometimes, and actually it's the same problem with most of the MCU movies.

The roles -as always- for me aren't good, the performance of most of the cast is very poor! Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow is bad as always, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier is getting worse every movie, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther WAS totally a fake-act and Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America is ridiculously serious as always.

But some roles I really adored, and comes in number one Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man as always, then Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Paul Bettany as Vision, Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon.
The others were equal to me.

The action sequence was really epic, the CGI was stunning too, it had a slight sense of humor and the story was iconic!

Captain America: Civil War is definitely a great, stunning, epic and unwell-ed most of the performances movie!

And I don't mean the best as in it's a bit better than the other ones, I mean this movie is actually kind of incredible. I think the first Avengers is the only film that I'd say is better than this.

The Russo brothers directed the hell out of this film. They use this cool old school big text on the screen every time a scene takes place in a different location, or with the year as well. With its camerawork, colors and even sound design the film's a lot more stylistic than the previous ones. A flashback scene involving the Winter Soldier has this very dark tone and they use some close shots and an echo-y effect on a gunshot and a car crash to make the scene a lot more disturbing than it would've felt without them. It's all these little details that the film has throughout that makes it feel so much more special. The action, especially in the airport scene, is fantastic, cool and fun to watch. This film lasts for two and a half hours and it felt like it went through in 15 minutes. Even the exposition scenes were handled very well and the dialogue was a lot better. The pace too is basically perfect. I seriously never got bored. Sure it's a bit weird that they throw all these scenes in involving a ton of characters in a Captain America film, but mostly all of them were still entertaining, interesting and felt like they matter. And just like with the first Avengers, there are no uninteresting side characters because there's basically no room for them whatsoever. This film has like 12 goddamn superheroes that are almost all set up in the earlier films. Even if it took 12 films to set up all these characters and to get to this point, it is really paying off here. Although that doesn't change the fact that a lot of the earlier films were really boring, and a film like The Incredible Hulk was just incredibly and laughably terrible.

The film isn't completely perfect though. There was the Zemo guy still and he sucked. His scenes broke the immersion for me a lot even when they were short because his acting was so much worse than the superheroes' and as a character he was just bland. I'm happy that he didn't technically turn out to be a villain at least, because this movie more like turns the superheroes against each other which was very clever.

This film definitely has me interested to see more. It's an improvement in creativity, action and actual interesting drama as well. Great film.

This movie is everything Marvel fans want. Effects are incredible (as usual) and it also makes you think of the dilemma the heroes have to think.

Muy recomendada, y los fans de los superhéores la van a amar.

Simply put, this is one of the best comic book films ever made. With a more serious and darker tone than most Marvel movies, "Captain America: Civil War" manages to deliver incredible action and intrigue.

Civil War is fun and entertainment but also sophisticated with some content besides the fact of being a superhero movie filled with explosions and action scenes. The character building is not deep and a bit sloppy but the movie has some deeper layers uncharacteristic of your usual superhero movie and can amaze even the crankiest of your typical Sundance/independent movie critic/fanatic. Just sit back relax and enjoy. Expand
